Mountain Hardwear Lamina -15 Sleeping Bag: -15 Degree Synthetic - 2007

The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag is rated to -15F and uses Mountain Hardwear's proprietary Thermic Micro insulation. This insulation is welded directly to the bag, which eliminates the need for baffles. This unique construction reduces overall weight and helps the durable and extremely compressible Thermic insulation stand up well to repeated stuffings and washings. Plus, this high-loft insulation holds in your body heat and keeps you toasty when you camp in winter or mountaineer in spring. The DWR-coated Lamina Sleeping Bag stays warm even when it gets wet, and it dries far faster than down sleeping bags. This sleeping bag's soft polyester lining wicks moisture so you sleep comfortably.

Bottom Line: Take advantage of high-loft, soft, durable, and compressible Thermic Micro insulation and sleep warm with the Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag.

Ok so I bought it for my boyfriend and he was sooo siked! I couldnt believe someone could love a sleeping bag so much. He slept outside in 5 degrees and got got he said. Now granted it is a -15 degree bag, that still is awesome. I couldnt be more happy to see someone that excited...plus I liked it too!

awesome bag!

i always hear bad things about synthetic bags but this one is awesome! i put it thru hell and back for a week long adventure in colorado where it performed perfectly.. even on them mornings where you wake up to a glistening tent with frost EVERYWHERE including all over your sleeping bag and look at the mercury and it is reading 25 below freezing. but yet this bag kept me warm and comfy even when it was really wet.. its a bag that when you're out in the wilderness you just dont wanna get out of it ever! i tested it out on mount elbert when we camped at 12000ft in the very deep snow and had 30mph winds.. just an awesome bag.

Here's a non-gender specific +5 degree bag but it's the best on the market. I've had one for years & love it:http://www.backcountry.com/store/WES0011/Western-Mountaineering-Antelope-Super-DL-5-Degree-Down.html

cold sleeper satisfied

By:
June 24, 2008

i sleep cold - and need the insulation to keep me at a comfy temperature. i've had this bag for 1 year and took it winter camping several times on some 5-6 day trips. with temps way below freezing - frost inside the tent (and on my bag) - i kept nice and warm. I'm skinny (5'5" and 110 lbs), so i don't always touch the sides of my sleeping bag. this was a problem in the past, as i woke up from cold spots when i shifted. but it doesn't seem to happen with this bag. and after repeated stuffings, it has kept it's loft fairly well... only seeming issue is that it seems too sweat a lot. my bag always seemed a lot wetter than my companion's bag in the morning (though i never had a problem w/comfort).
