Mountain Hardwear Beryllium Jacket - Men's - 2006
The Mountain Hardwear Men's Beryllium Jacket provides you with the articulated cut, waterproof fabric, and wicking properties you need for a multi-pitch ice climb. This alpine jacket's extremely durable FTX nylon is laminated with Gore-Tex XCR and seam-taped for complete waterproofness. A Tricot mesh lining wicks moisture when sweat starts to bead on that gnarly second pitch, and a micro-chamois lined collar removes chin irritation from the equation. When you reach a belay station, unzip the pit vents and let off some steam. Chest-high hand pockets remain accessible when wearing a harness, and an inner water bottle pocket lets you stay hydrated on the ascent. A one hand, single-pull hood allows you to quickly seal out cold while your other hand stays on your ice tools.
Bottom Line: Cross glaciers and climb ice falls in the Mountain Hardwear Men's Beryllium Jacket.
