The Mountain Hardwear Compressor PL jacket is one of Mountain Hardwear's most incredible offerings this fall. In their own words, the Compressor's insulation is “unsurpassed in its ability to keep you warmer and drier than down and other synthetics.” Adding to its incredible ability to keep you toasty are fleece-lined hand pockets. The micro-chamois lined chin lets you hunker down in the jacket without looking like you had a close encounter with sandpaper. And the interior zip pocket, perfect for keys and credit card, means you won't be turned away from the mid-mountain coffee kiosk without your mocha.

Flip jacket is wonderful

I love the slim fit, and it's just as warm as I hoped it would be. Perfect for windy cold days! What's more, I ordered my flip jacket for the green side, and was very pleasantly surprised to discover I liked the reverse (grey) side even better! With many reversible jackets, one side tends to be more attractive than the other, but not with this one. It's really like having two coats! Definitely worth full price, but here you get a huge deal!

Good jacket

I liked the jacket, got lots of compliments on it. Nice and lightweight yet really warm. However, within one trek and no known mechanism, there's a pretty major snag or burn and exposed lining along one seam, so not sure how hardy this is for the long run.

This jacket seems to have the warmth of a puffy jacket without the puff. It is very comfortable and easy to regulate.

I adore the Compressor Jacket! The minimalist construction and ultra-lightweight make this jacket a must have for backpacking in cool weather. I have a women’s size 12 and a men’s Medium. I use the women’s for everyday wear in cool weather. I use the men’s when I backpack. The men’s cut has a wider body for layering the longer length keeps it from riding up when I am wearing a backpack.

I love my Mountain Hardware Compressor jacket. It's not only lightweight and thin but extremely warm! It’s also waterproof and breathable. The price is really fair for what you’re getting!

Great coat, super warm and hip. Incredibly light, windproof, and durable. One of the best coats I have owned. Fit's true to size. Reminded me of motorcycle jacket fit.
