Metolius BRD Belay Rappel Device - 2006

The Metolius BRD Belay Rappel Device is lightweight, ergonomic, and easy to use. But the BRD's greatest asset is its clever rope slots that provide additional control by increasing friction on the rope. Machined from solid 6061 T-6 aluminum, its double slots also offer single or double rope capabilities. An ergonomic horn gives enhanced control while lowering and rappelling. Cooling fins effectively dissipate heat. What's more, the BRD is easy-to-use, has a high strength to weight ratio, and it doesn't kink ropes. **COMES IN ASSORTED COLORS. We'll surprise ya.

Interesting piece of equipment, but came as advertized very promptly. No complaints with this item or service or anything else I purchased here. So much less hassle to buy online.
