Metolius Multi Loop Gear Slings feature an ergonomic cut so climbers can carry a ton of nuts, cams and draws without giving up any freedom of movement. New precision lamination, die-cutting technology and a comfy synthetic fabric make this gear sling the most comfortable we have seen. This sling is all it says it is. Comfortable, easy to organize the rack, and very adjustable and tough. Use mine every trip to the old crag whether just setting up topropes or in traditional mode leading. Get one of these and never have to carry around a pack, just wear your harness and strap everything else on!

A wonderful step in the gear sling evolution

By:

I've climbed for quite some time using a traditional gear sling that was really nothing more than a piece of webbing left over from the eighties (you know, electric pink and purple only in vogue in the Verdon Gorge these days). I bought this Metolious sling last season and have been thanking myself ever since. Its fleece padding that lines the main contact points (along the shoulder) is so comfortable (adjustable too) and the sewn plastic coated gear loops are a blessing when I'm reaching for a nut or cam in a pinch...this sling lends itself so well to organization, I've stopped dropping pro on my partner’s head!

Good for big racks, bad for small

Where this sling really comes into its own is when you’re carrying a really big rack. Being able to keep all the gear relatively separated is key when your rack is just shy of a big wall kit. With smaller racks, I tend to not like it because you often end up with gear on the back and front, but none in the middle. This makes for a very awkward load.
