I picked one of these up last year and I'm pretty impressed by it. It's just a lower profile than cordage would be. The sewn loops at either end make it super easy to use and set up. I use it on any multipitch climb where I'm building an anchor.

I have noticed that it comes up short sometimes if I have to place two pieces of my anchor somewhat far from each other. For this reason I wish it were longer, and next time I need one I might just go with a longer section of cordage. Unless Metolius makes a longer version of this by then ...

This is basically a super-long rabbit runner. They are pretty light and easy to bundle up and carry. Setup with two or three anchors is very easy and it gives you a central loop for everyone to clip into, prefect for multi-pitch climbs. The one major draw back is that it’s a little more painful on your wallet when you have to cut it up for rappel slings. For this reason I would recommend a regular cordelette of 7mm unless you know that all the stations have chains.

This product has been very useful in setting up ice belay stations. Using it as a 2 or 3 way has worked very well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a handy, light and easy to carry belay station.
