When the ridgeline winds prove that your shell alone just won't cut it, layer up with the Marmot Men's Warmlight Fleece Jacket and say goodbye to the shivers. With warm 200-weight Polartec fleece taking care of insulation, the Warmlight Jacket comes in handy as a layering piece or alone for chilly days in town. Articulated sleeves provide great range of motion, and the slim profile makes for easy layering under a shell.
Bottom Line: The Marmot Warmlight Fleece Jacket adds a little well-deserved warmth to your winter uniform.
very comfy jacket, this is the one for bumbing around the cabin in. Great quality. doesn't have adjustable cuffs (4 stars instead of 5), but has a drawstring waist. Has the loops on the cuffs/back of neck for zip-in compatiblity with marmot shells. I really can't emphasize how soft and comfortable this thing is.
This jacket is great for Fall and Spring, though I haven't used it during the winter. Its very warm for its weight. The down side is its kind of a shaggy fleece, but its extremely soft, if your into that. Also its kind of short to the waist, it goes just below the belt. I would like to see it longer

I recently bought but then returned the warmlight fleece. It was a very soft, light, and warm jacket but just wasn't for me. It fit a little too full through the chest and arms for my taste. After I returned it I went with the Arc'teryx Maverick AR Jacket instead. It fit much better since it was trimmer in the body and arms. Itâs also about the same length. The back tail is also a little longer than the front which is nice. It costs a little bit more but well worth it. So if you're looking for a jacket that fits a little trimmer go with the Arc'teryx. But if you're looking for a good lounging jacket the Marmot might be what you're looking for.
I use this jacket for everything from layering under a shell to wearing as standalone jacket. It is lightweight but keeps you warm. Highly recommended. It fits true to size.
close fit for size. however, can be used as a 2nd layer below a larger coat. i purchased on sale and a very good buy. it is comfortable and unlike many of the fleece jackets, very very stylish.
Hi there, all! Well, even though I'm not a man, I bought the orange/gray version of this Marmot jacket last summer, and have worn it and worn it and worn it, and love it still, but wanted another color. I now have the Tempest (dark blue) color, and wear it almost all the time, and love it, too. This jacket is perfect for those chilly mornings in winter before the house warms up, and also for windy walks. I love the high neck because when the jacket is fully zipped up, my neck isn't freezing! All in all, it's perfect for just about anything. I like the looser fit of men's jackets because I can layer sweaters under them if necessary. So here's one girl's big YES! vote for this Marmot Warmlight Fleece Jacket - Men's!
Is the Marmot Warmlight Fleece Jacket designed to zip into the Marmot shells? Does the zipper pull 'flip over' so it can be zipped from the inside? Are there attachment points at the end of the sleeves?
This jacket is meant as a stand alone and doesn't zip into other Marmot shells. I don't believe the zipper will flip to the inside. Not sure what you mean by attachment points. Please clarify. ThanksAccording to the Marmot web site, it will zip in to a shell with that capability as well. The zipper pull is one of those that does flip over so that it can be easily zipped in.This WILL zip into the tamarak jacket
Nice, The hidden pocket drawstrings are great. Fit is excellent for my size. Back Country is a fanastic company. I will not shop anywhere else after using this company. AAA+++.
