Marmot Eiger 35 Backpack - 2100 cu in - 2007

The Eiger 35 Backpack includes the same pre-curved shoulder straps and split-wrap waist-belt as larger Marmot packs to provide expedition-quality suspension in a small package. This 2100cu inch backpack easily carries a heavy load of climbing gear to the crags while ski straps and stowable ice axe loops make it great for winter use as well. The Eiger 35 Backpack's lid comes off for trips where weight matters, and Marmot's excellent compression system helps it carry well when you trim gear to the minimum.

Bottom Line: Get more comfort from your daypack with the Marmot Eiger 35 Backpack.

Price Doesn't do it Justice!

I bought this pack back in February, with some skepticism (as there were no reviews), but man am I glad I did. I bought the large version 37L, and used it on a ski trip to Colorado right away. Aside from the fact that it was the only piece of luggage I needed (aside from my ski bag), this thing fit all my clothes for the 4 day trip, I also used it do do a few backcountry trails. The pack has an removable aluminum rod insert, as well as a removal plastic mold, but I don't know why you would ever take them out, they make the pack stable as hell, and makes it extremely comfortable. The straps on the packs shoulders allows for a lot for you to adjust it anyway you like, which is essential since weight can play a big factor. My only issue with the pack is the pockets located on the hip straps are meshed, and can't be used to store wallet's, or valuables, but was great for my sunglasses, chapstick, etc.

Highly recommend.

Does this pack have adjustable torso length? How much can this

Does this pack have adjustable torso length? How much can this pack carry comfortably? What is the design of this frame and what is it made out of?Can the frame be bent(in the case of aluminum) to the wearer's back?

The pack has no adjust ability for torso,it can hold 50 lbs comfortably, and there is no frame in this pack.in addition to the above answer, mine does have a metal bar running down the length of the spine. while i haven't tried bending it, i noticed it is possible to take the bar out and thought to myself that i could conceivably put a different bar in. if you put in a piece of aluminum, i can see it being possible to micro adjust the back frame to a particular user's back.

I love this pack it fits great, Haven't tried many other packs because this one just seems to work. As long as you like the tube style of pack that is. definitely have had upwards of 60 lbs on this thing and it did a decent job.
