I think it's a great sleeping bag for spring and fall, but a bit cold for winter camping. The down does not smell wet dog or stick together. There is great room for shoulders and extra room further down for keeping shoes, water bottles or whatever needed to be dried. It is very light n take little space. A good choice. If you consider using it for winter camp, I recommend warm clothes as well, or another sleeping bag.

All around awesome bag, warm, soft, easy zippers, long for this 5'11" body. I could zip it right up and roll over without feeling like the bag was then out of place. Love it. My wife got the woman's version. We used em in Peru down to 0degC.

What I can really say is that when I was looking for a sleeping bag I was really a novice and relying heavily on these written reviews and so I feel a need to reciprocate! :) Not only does this bag feel like silk on your skin, it's warms you up on a cold night in just a few moments after getting into it. I get cold really easy and after a whole night of shivering around the campfire, I hopped right in my bag with all my clothes on including an extra fleece only to find that a few minutes later I was tearing off all the extra layers. Another great aspect is that the bag packs up like a little log! I highly recommend this bag to someone looking for great comfort and a warm trip.:):)
