Generously sized, nicely finished.

I love the hat. It is very comfortable. The adjustable back makes it very easy to change the tightness. The only thing that I do not like about the hat is that it has metal snaps to keep the sides up if you want. But they seem to be located at a funny place and then makes the sides of the hat poke out—not enough to stop me from buying this hat again!!! Just buy it you'll love it.

This hat fits great and is lightweight and comfortable to wear. I never had a chance to test it in a downpour, but knew I was prepared. The only downside to mention is to test if the back brim will rub your pack. This can be uncomfortable and if you are trying to cut ounces, consider if you want this as your all around hat or consider a waterproof baseball-style hat instead. You can't go wrong with this Marmot hat, though.

This is a really cool hat and it’s going to do well on my trip to Ecuador this summer. The only thing is that I have kind of shaggy hair and I wish the hat was a little bigger. Overall, I think I just might need a haircut.

This hat keeps rain off your head/shoulders really, really well (unless you snap one or both sides in the upright position). Still, it’s a great hat because if it's windy you don’t necessarily have to tighten your chinstrap, you can tighten the cord around your head and it stays on well in light wind.
