This is simply one of the most affordable, lightweight, waterproof jackets available. Marmot designed the Oracle for women who like to layer up underneath. Micro-stitching and fully taped seams provide the performance of any top-of-the-line shell, but at a lighter weight. This piece offers the superb waterproofing of Marmot's immensely popular PreCip Jacket, but it fits and breathes better, while stretch fabric in key areas allows for more mobility.

Bottom Line: You won't find a better multi-purpose, weatherproof shell for this price.

I like the way this jacket looks and feels. I normally take a Large size, but I needed the XL for this jacket.

Functional and attractive

I like this bright, high tech jacket very much. It has a good shape. Nothing very square about it, but it is obviously cut for a woman. I will keep this for years, and feel that it is attractive and not boxy.

Strickly for the Ladies

I like the shape of this jacket and the functionality is top rate. It is one of the most flattering jackets I have ever owned and I do not usually care about that so much. It is nice to look good while being warm and dry.

SUPER JACKET

Used it on a weekend trip at Starved Rock State Park rained most of Sat. and Sun. This jacket is very light weight and very waterproof. I love this jacket!
