Marmot Eiger 45 Backpack - 2700 cu in - 2006
The Marmot Eiger Pack is a quintessential multi-purpose backpack for a great price. Perfect for shorter, intense trips where we desire small and compact packs, not large and floppy; and when we want something that can take a good licking. The Eiger meets these needs and more. It's a classic top-loading pack with room for the essentials like a rack, a rope, food and water and shell gear. Lash a wet shell or sweaty layer to the outside for quick drying via an external bungee attachment. Side compression straps that easily secure skis make the Eiger a great pack for backcountry skiing, too. Dual ice axe loops keep essential mountaineering tools in place, and the front panel access gives you easy access to gear deep in your pack. Marmot's new V-compressor load transfer system helps distribute the pack load over your middle back and lumbar areas for comfort and stability. A breathable DriClime hipbelt aids in moisture control and remains comfortable over a harness.
Bottom Line: Excellent value and bomber Marmot quality.
