Lithium Bag

Purchased for my wife who is new to backpacking and a cold sleeper. It will also be used by me in cold-weather backpacking. The warmth-to-weight ratio is astonishing. Our maiden trip had temps in the 30s and she was very comfortable and commented on the roominess of the bag, which enabled her to bend her knees without feeling claustrophobic. Pricey, but very nice.

Best-in-class bag

This is a fantastically light and compressible bag, truly warm down to about zero degrees. Marmot's 900 fill is the real thing; they are one of very few companies to retest the fill of their down themselves before filling the bag. They have an uncommon attention to the quality of down fill. I'm 6'4, 200 lbs, and the fit is perfect. A larger-than-stock stuff sack, or better yet, a super-light summit daypack, would be best for holding this bag.

Marmot lithium

I have used this sleeping bag on one 4 day skiing trip in northern Norway. I stayed warm and slept really good. The size of the long version fit me well (188cm tall). Outside the tent it was -14 degree Celcius, wind and a lot of snow in the air.

(Bi) Polar Campers Should Use Lithium

By:

This bag is light as a feather and warm as a furnace! The half-length zipper might be a problem for folks who like foot ventilation, but if its cold enough to need this bag, you won't be exposing your toes. On the down side (pun intended) the 900 fill down lofts so much it takes some work to get it into the stuff sack. And, yes, its pricey (but worth it.)

lithium Sleeping Bag

This is a pretty good sleeping bag it keeps the goose down even throughout the sleeping bag and it will keep you warm at the given temperature. On the other hand the half zipper can be a problem. I like the full zipper. The material is to soft and can rip easily.

Like sleeping in a cloud...

This bag is everything but waterproof. Just don't get it wet. Tough to fit into the stuff sack that comes with it, but I just use a slightly larger compression sack from one of my old bags, and it keeps it dry and it's also an easier shape to pack then the long fit the stock sack provides.
