You can pack an extra 10 liters in the Lowe Alpine AirZone Centro 35 Plus Pack, which means it's possible to fit your sleeping bag, small tent, stove, and food for a quick overnight in the backcountry. Nice overnighter..

The AirZone back works quite well with lighter loads, however at heavier pack loads (>25 lbs) it pretty much compresses onto your back like every other pack would. Nice extras, good water bottle holder positioning, good-sized expandable front pocket (large enough for SLR with large lens). Only issue so far is the chest compression strap tends to pop off when training with 50 lbs in pack (though I doubt it was really made to handle this type of weight).

I have been using this pack for all-around weekend overnight and day use and find it to be just the right size for these activities. I really like the side zip access panel (it is a top loader too) and the airzone feature really works to keep your back cool when hiking. It is a really full featured pack.
