Lorpen Ultralight Ski Sock

Lorpen covers your feet in high-tech fibers in their S.A.N.P. Ski Sock. Schoeller Outlast is an amazing material originally developed to keep astronauts comfortable. It actually retains heat and releases it as needed! In this way, the heat that you generate while skiing down is put back in to your feet when you're riding the chairlift back up. This amazing fiber is combined with Lorpen's equally impressive engineered knitting techniques to create a sock that has been made in three dimensions for unparalleled support, warmth and comfort.

Bottom Line: You won't believe your feet.

these socks were great. fit was true to size and did not bunch once in my boot. however were not super warm.
They worked well for spring skiing in Whistler, BC. but I don't know how warm they would be if it got real cold

Great Socks!

These socks are great! Perfect for insulated boots. I would recommend to go for a little smaller size they'll stretch just fine. They will come up to mid calf but you'll hardley even notice them.

my favorite socks

By:
March 11, 2006

These are my favorite ski socks I've ever had. I like to wear thin socks but sometimes they slide around on my foot and give me blisters, but these are my only pair that does not do that. I highly recommend them.

Comfortable yet...

A comfortable sock with a funky design that is definitely not for winter wear. While I enjoyed the fit, they offered little to no warmth. I'll use them solely for spring skiing and hiking.

Good Sock for the price

By:
January 2, 2007

I think this was a good sock for the price. They fit extremely well and did not bunch up anywhere. The do pull up almost over my knee, but settled after the boot was on. They worked perfectly and I am going to pick up a few more pairs before my next trip.

The Perfect Sock

By:
March 15, 2006

I really love my SANP socks. They retain no moisture and cling to my feet perfectly without bunching up like the rest of my socks. I had custom Surefoot insoles made for my Garmont Ener-G tele boots (Surefoot rules), and these socks work perfectly with my newly-fitted boots. I didn't need insulation, as my boot liners take care of that. If you have custom insoles, a thick insulating sock will not give you a proper and consistent fit. The SANP socks, however, were just what I needed.

I skied in this sock and loved it. It kept my foot warm but still breathed well.
