Look PX12 Ti Lifter Wide Legend Ski Binding - 2008

The Look PX 12 Ti Lifter Wide Legend Ski Bindings weigh in at just 5.6lb per pair, and come with wide brakes that fit skis up to 100mm underfoot. With a DIN range of 3.5-12, this binding works for progressing to aggressive experts. The 6mm of rise under the toe piece and 6.5mm under the heelpiece add leverage to aid rolling on to an edge, especially when mounted on fat skis. The PX 12's suspended heelpiece provides more lateral support and decreases the amount of energy lost between the boot and the ski, which means you get improved performance without exerting any extra energy. This binding also features elastic travel that delivers shock and vibration absorption while guaranteeing a timely release during a fall.

Bottom Line: Mount the Wides on your big boards and head for the steeps.

Best to get on the Gear Expert chat at the bottom of the page for direct questions to bc.com. That said, I do not think you can mount these onto rails, but I might be wrong on that.

Good but Rossis are better deal

Skied on these for the past two seasons. I've heard of reports play occurring in the heel track and toepieces breaking after doing big drops, but I've had no issues. The new heel design has grown on me as the ability to crank up the forward pressure really improves the feel of the skis and reduces pre-releases. These have worked well for everything from park to big mountain skiing. However, the new Rossignol SAS 120 offers a more durable binding for the same price. The Rossis have a teflon antifriction device, reinforced heel track, and overall shorter mounting pattern. Overall, these are a good all-around binding for those who aren't super heavy and go big but perhaps not huge in the terrain park or off cliffs.

I should note that the recommended skier weight for these (170lbs+) is not accurate. These are likely suitable for any skier who uses a DIN of 5-10.

Yeah, they should fit, but with a little bit of rub. Not a big deal, but if it bothers you, just bend it out slightly.

It really depends on your ski! But I would recommend a conservative mount, close to the recommended line, unless you know you will be skiing the terrain park, or skiing switch.
