My favorite part about this coat, besides the great zip-off features and the hand gaiters, is that it is super light! I have a winter Columbia coat with a zip-in shell, and it's wonderfully warm, but it ends up weighing a ton! This coat provides all the warmth without all the weight. Plus it is a lot more stylish, so you can still be dressy and stay warm!

kudos....this jacket is great. super flexible/mixed use. it's quite towny and the furry hood is like an quasi accessory for every occasion. looks sassy and sharp, wipes clean from splashes and spills. functional, too. cinchers ans skirts and liners galore to keep out the wet and shivers. pockets are great. worn up,the floppy hood creates a sheltered microclimate for your topper without fussing the hair. i mostly wear as a vest, daily, and tote the sleeves for later when the temps drop. TRULY, it's NOT the warmest thing, nor for everest. but all the assets are worth it. and since it's not so puffy, you can layer another something on top for extreme chill and not be a snowman.
this jacket had big shoes to fill.... (i blew up my 10 year old moonstone in the washer). i wanted everything ( and nearly got it). worth the money.

This jacket is kick-ass. Look is fabulous and I love the multi-functionality. Bought it for casual wear throughout the fall/winter. Right now I'm wearing the vest with and without the hood. Either way it looks great and keeps me warm! I wear size small shirts and the size 6 fits great. Would not be able to fit a chunky fleece or sweater underneath, but I am not planning to since I wear mostly Icebreakers for winter layers.

I love this jacket. Follow the measurements exactly... I'm a medium, but I ordered the small because those are my measurements, and although it looks small on the hanger, it fits perfectly. It's not puffy-looking but feels very warm and downy. The hood is gorgeous. The removable sleeves are awesome. The thumb holes are very comfortable and silky. This is the most amazing piece of clothing I own. Loooove it.

I've looked a long time for the right down jacket and this is it: really warm but not super puffy, fashionable AND practical, and a great color (I got the green tea, which is a beautiful soft green). I am usually a size 6, 5'7", and the size 6 fits perfectly. I didn't think I'd use the zip-off sleeves, but I have worn it as a vest many times -- and it looks great. With the faux-fur trim (which looks really good) you can wear it out at night, then zip off the hood the next day for a dog walk. The sleeves have long stretchy interior cuffs with thumb holes that are great for keeping warm. The whole jacket is really well designed and very high quality. It was worth the money.

This jacket is the coolest jacket I've had in a long time. It fits great, is comfy, and the pink color is fab!

I just purchased my 2nd Mimi jacket. I bought one last year in Canada and I truly loved it! It is a very versatile coat that can turn into a vest as well. It is warm when you want it warm, but also regulates really well when you are indoors. I usually only wore a sweater underneath. Fit is great, not too puffy. I am usually a medium, and I wear a size 10. I am so excited that Lole has arrived in the US, thanks to this site for carrying this brand! Got a black one this year and I can't wait to wear it, probably as a vest first, until cooler weather arrives.

After finding this great looking orange down coat (and I have been looking for one for a while), and reading all the reviews I thought "This is it! The one I've been looking for!" Then I went to the size chart. I need a size 4 and it's not available.
