This jacket should keep you plenty warm for your everyday errands. Perhaps a thicker jacket might be better if you are to play outside for hours. Always keep in my layering, this is sure to keep you warm, not matter what the temp. This is an excellent jacket that I own myself. It keeps me plenty warm.

I am very happy with the fit of the jacket i got - a size 8, i am 178 cms and weigh 70kgs. i like that it is fitting enough to be flattering even with padding and layers... the main reason i bought this jacket is as an alternative to down (in very cold conditions) because I am vegan and don't agree with using animal products. the jacket is very warm for the conditions i have used it in so far - down to about 10 degrees celsius, although i'm planning to use it down to -15 or so later on this year - we'll see! the only thing i might have liked was if the hood was insulated, but I've decided to layer the jacket with a fleece hoody especially as i'm going to be in such cold climates in the near future. I would definitely recommend the jacket, its great to be able to use it just as a shell or as insulation also. and additionally i think it looks hot on!
