We're willing to bet that the Lole Women's Claire Jacket doesn't look like any other coat in your closet. With its contoured waist, thigh length, and retro plaid pattern, this jacket does things a little differently. And the Claire is more than a fresh new face. Lole designed this jacket with a quick-drying polyester shell and low-bulk Thermolite insulation—it isn't afraid of a little mean weather. Wearing pinstriped pants? Turn this reversible coat solid-side out so you don't clash.

How does this jacket do against the rain?

Hi. This jacket is a bounded plaid polyester. It's not made for wearing in the rain. I would believe you would be safe in a light rain, but a heavy rain, eventually would begin to soak thru the fabric.
