Lib Technologies Skunk Ape BTX Snowboard - Wide

The Lib Tech Skunk Ape BTX Snowboard puts Magne-Traction and some Banana between your gargantuan kickers. By using reverse-camber Banana Rocker Technology in the middle and a flat profile from the bindings to the tip and tail, Lib Tech creates an absolutely filthy ride for all things freestyle—from hits to rails to urban. And don't forget about that Magne-Traction, which transforms crappy snow into powder.

  • Magne-Traction edges turns ice into powder
  • Banana Technology rocker between the bindings for surfy ride and lots of pop
  • H-POP Core for increased energy transfer and power
  • Double sintered UHMW sidewalls and Power Transfer internal sidewalls add durability
  • TNT Base rides super fast
  • True twin shape for switch versatility

Bottom Line: You know what they say about riders with a big Banana, don't you?

my buddy who rides a ride yukon borrowed my board yesterday. neither of us are sure about the banana effect but the magnetraction is freaking awesome. demo one or just buy one. it kicks butt!

had an old ride yukon, got to demo a lib tech last year. camber definitely the way to go if your riding pow, and also if you are a little on the heavy side. i weigh 215 and i was floating on a 157 lando. pretty impressive. anyways the yukon is pretty much only for shredding nasty lines super fast. if you want something a little more versatile go with the banana. also, dont forget about other brands such as ride and never summer (3 yr warr.) with reverse cambers.

I received a 169 as a gift from a generous employer. As far as how stiff most reviews that i have read rate it, i found that it flexes much easier than my old 170 K2 fat bob. im 6'5 and 220. dont know how the banana-traction helped. it definately felt like it tracked alot better. the softer flex was alot more fun than my last board. I wasn't aware i could tailpress so easily. or nose press either. switch was alot easier too. not that i am that great at it. see you after the first pow day...
