Lange Comp Pro Ski Boot - Men's

As precise and powerful as a jungle cat, the Lange Men’s Comp Pro Ski Boot makes other high-performance boots look slow. With a wickedly stiff 120 flex index, the Comp Pro has plenty of power to drive all but the stiffest race stock skis, while the low-volume fit and short flex range combine with an asymmetrical last to give your kickers an intuitive connection to the ski.

  • Race-specific flex range engages faster for GS and Slalom turns
  • Low-volume 97mm last for race response or very narrow feet
  • Neoprene toe box for warmth and elasticity

Bottom Line: What’s better than cougars on pumas? The Lange Comp Pro on your feet.

Did they say these were fast?!...

Very fast. There response can be alittle overwhelming if your form is slightly off. They definately will help with progressing your skiing ability. I went from a Nordica Speedmachine 12 to these Langes which surely charge harder than no other. They didnt have all the fancy stuff like the Nordica or a Technica, but lets be serious.... its a boot. If you want an aggressive, hard charging boot, no extra gadgets or frills, look no further.

Oh! and be prepared to get thrown off your ass if your not on top of your game.

Anyone using these Lang Comp Pros as a freeski boot? I've

Anyone using these Lang Comp Pros as a freeski boot? I've tried them on and the seem to fit well. I'm just concerned that with little padding in the liner and none of the freeski features like a shock absorbing foot board these might really beat up my feet and shins when skiing off piste. I've tried the Banshe Pro and Super Blaster but those just don't fit right. Any opionins from those who have tried these in crud, bumps, and ungroomed would be really helpful. Thanks.

I used a similar boot to this last season as a Snowbird local. It was this year's 'Radical Race' plug with a really thin liner. The liner in this boot is a bit more padded, but still really thin. I've noticed fewer pain problems with thinner liners as long as the shells are fit properly and my footbeds are dialed. Smooshy liners allow my skinny shins to float around a bit more which leads to more instances of shin-bang when I goof a landing. In my opinion, padded heels don't do anything but give shop dudes something to point at when selling boots. I have a Salomon SPK Pro with a big gel pad and have never noticed a benefit. My feet, ankles, and toes have never had a pain problem due to thin liners used while skiing hard on crappy snow. I'm confidant that once the fit of your boot is dialed, you'll really appreciate the performance of these boots.
