I love Lafumas line of shoes, and in particular the twin lace system. I used these shoes for a 14 day trek on the John Muir Trail earlier this summer. I would give the shoes 5 stars, but there were a few robustness issues. Foremost, after about 80 miles of hiking, one of the side straps that the twin lace is held in place by came undone, resulting in a quick 15 minute fix using a needle and some fishing line. Secondly, the mesh itself ripped when I caught the toe of my shoe on some rocks, and had to sew that up as well. So, probably not the shoe to be taking on such a hike as the JMT, but still great lightweight trail runners.

They're super comfortable, and I had no issues with sizing (other than ordering a full size larger, but mainly because your feet swell when you hike 14 days in a row.) I'm about to reorder another pair, and will get a normal size. I would consider my feet to be slightly wide.
