I purchased this pillow to us for car camping. It is slighty to big. Even though it doesn't matter weight and space for taking it with you on a car camping trip, I would still like it to fit in the sleeping bag hood. On the nights when the temp's drop to close to freezing, I want to sinch my hood down and the pillow is to big to be able to do that.

The Big Bear pillow is not only great for car camping, but also great to take on a river trip, a hut trip, even backpacking as it comes in a great cinch sack. Compresses into half of it's width, and then put more items on top in a pack and it gets even smaller. No more days of bringing a pillow case and putting all of your clothes in it to make it into an uncomfortable pillow. And the price rocks at sub $20!

Definitly not. The picture totally fails to communicate the Hugeness of these pillows. They're pretty close in size to bed pillows and pack into a sack bigger than a nalgene.

It is soooo comfortable that I've actually started using it on the bed to prop up while I read in the bed. It makes all the difference in the world when camping.
