La Sportiva Onix GTX-XCR Hiking Boot - Women's - 2007

Total waterproof breathable performance make the La Sportiva Onix GTX-XCR Women's Hiking Boots ready for the wettest, muddiest trails around. Who cares if it just rained all night when you have their Gore-Tex XCR linings to keep your feet completely dry. La Sportiva gave the Onix Hiking Boots ultra-grippy Vibram Hiking I.B.S. outsoles to keep you upright in all that mud. The sloppiest trails feel like sidewalks when you get on them with these boots.

Bottom Line: Stay comfortable in the La Sportiva Onix GTX-XCR Hiking Boots even as the trail's mud gets deeper and deeper.

I have a small foot and need a wide toe box for my short stubby toes. A wide shoe is usually to wide all over. Any suggestions, this boot was recomended.

Excellent boot. Fits perfectly. Extremely comfortable for mid distance. Would definitely purchase again. This may become my favorite boot.

Has anyone used these on snow and ice? Not for hard core climbing,

Has anyone used these on snow and ice? Not for hard core climbing, but hiking on packed down snow, or just running errands and walking across icy parking lots? I had the Vasque Kota shoes for that, but they're like skates on snow and ice. I have some North Face Bella Alta boots with "Winter Grip" that ROCK on snow and ice, but they don't have the right support for hiking. Could these La Sportivas be the combination I'm seeking? Thanks!
