Line Invader Alpine Ski - 2007

The Line Invader Alpine Ski delivers performance from the front, the back, and side-to-side. This revolutionary park and pipe ski's truly centered stance and symmetric tip and tail give you a killer ride. The Invader's center mounted stance and symmetrical sidecut means you can carve, spin, turn, and butter with consistency whether you're riding regular or riding switch. The Invader's milled Butter Zones in front and behind the mounting points create a hinge point for smooth, consistent buttering anywhere on the mountain. Line's durable fatty bases and edges take punishing abuse from jibbing hijinx. The tough but lightweight maple Macroblock core gives you smooth, consistent flex and pop for seasons of park and pipe destruction.

Bottom Line: Jib, stomp, and butter like it ain't no thang on the Invader.

Good skis

They are solid park and jib ski. Nice and flexy and they butter like mad. They are fun to ski in the park. People have been saying that they are only good in the park, but I ski them all mountain and have been very pleased with them. If you can't ski invaders outside of the park, perhaps you shouldn't be on skis.

I was a little worried these would be to narrow, but they really do the job well. Bindings at true center is really cool. It feels kind of weird putting big mountain skis on again and seeing how much tip you have. I was impressed at how fast you can go and how well they do all over the mountain. They are great skis.

Theyre OK

Got my line invaders two weeks ago and i was phsyced!!! they were super light and looked perfect. got out in my yard where i got a barrel jib, 6 ft rail and a down box set up. i started usin um and they felt amazing super fast and the landings felt so clean. but i took um off that night and the outer coating of lamanation was already peeling i was PISSED! but i decided to keep shredn. ive used them on teh mountain 3 times so far and they handle really well but they scrath way way to easy, ive got dings that go INSIDE the ski already and im really angry. if your lookin for a 1 season ripper this is a good ski but definetely not worth getting if you expect to have them last more then 2 seasons.

okay the first skis i ever bought (bought, i rented before) were the Line Mini Chronics. they were great skis but 2nd season i clipped a box and snapped the tip off, i was mad and blamed the skis for that haha so then i went and bought K2 juvy's but 2nd season i hated that they weren't center mounted so i bought these 151cm Line Invaders. I've only ridden them once but that was the most fun i've ever had skiing - even though the conditions were horrible - it was basically raining so the whole mountain was slow so i stayed in park the whole day. i don't know how they ride all-mountain but they're really good in park. i don't regret buying them at all. i can't wait to go out to CO and ski them 6 days in a row. Oh, and till1080 - i have a question: if they were such junky skis why did you buy 15 pairs? get a different kind if the invaders are so bad - no way you broke 15 pairs. these were well worth it.
