The Line Invader Alpine Ski delivers performance from the front, the back and side-to-side. This revolutionary park and pipe ski could be folded into a cool little rectangle thanks to its truly centered stance and symmetric tip, tail, flex and shape. We call them the forwards-backwards boards. All this symmetry means you can carve, spin, turn and butter with consistency whether you're facing forward or riding switch. The Invader's one-of-a-kind Butter Zone makes for smooth, consistent buttering (Is there any other kind?) thanks to a thinner profile just in front of and behind the binding. Other Line staples include durable fatty bases and edges, a tough but lightweight maple Macroblock core, and Quickmount technology for your Reactor bindings.
Bottom Line: Ski with symmetry when you ride the Invader.
What can I say a truly awesome ski? It butters with so much ease and makes ollies and nollies so easy, you can just pop 3's of the tips with very little effort. In the park this ski rocks. With it being a completely symmetrical ski, its as easy to ride switch as in is forward. It also it a great all mountain ski, second to last week of season took it into two feet of powder and while I was center mounted it still handled fine.
I just got my Invaders, and on the second trip to the hill the top sheet completely separated from the base (this is at the very tip) leaving a massive gap. I definitely will never purchase another Line product.
Great park and pipe ski, but the top sheet started coming off after a few uses. Line agreed to take them back after the ski season is over and will replace with next years Line Invaders. Unfortunately, after 12 ski days, the tips have delaminated and the rail has become detached from the ski making them unusable. Sides have also delaminated by the binding. I own three other pairs of Line skis with no problems. Hope next years are a big improvement.
These skis are amazing, the butter-zone flex technology makes it really fun to just pop around on. The elliptical sidecut makes it easy to carve off the lips of the jumps. The ski itself is made durable and has the width to handle the whole mountain and is great at high speeds.
I just got the Invaders and I'm already mastering jumps, rails, and an occasional barrel. I also have improved on powder and even groomed areas. I had a pair of skis before that were not LINE Invaders and I couldn't do anything. Now that I have them I rule the slopes. LINE should be proud of this ski!
The ski is the sickest park and pipe ski I have ever skied. Too bad the laminate cracked and I took them back after 6 days. The butter zones are awesome, but the ski was fair to bad on the rest of the mountain.
