Kokatat sea skirt good for very small cockpits

I took a chance on this sea skirt when I couldn't find one that showed as fitting my Necky Eliza. The cockpit dimensions on the Eliza are 28.5" x 15" / 72.4 x 34.9 cm -- pretty small when you're looking at sea skirts. This one adjusts down to fit that size because it has a drawstring you can cinch down and tie. However, it doesn't seal well so you're going to get very wet if you use it in choppy seas or roll your kayak.

Adequate is a good description. The adjustable waist closure is comfortable. The hand warmer is a real luxury if you aren't wearing gloves while the zipper pocket is convenient for energy bars. The shortcoming is when you roll, it's not watertight like neoprene and it will come loose. It will keep you reasonably warm and dry as long as you stay upright.

Awesome kayak skirt in blue!

I love this kayak skirt. I purchased one for my husband several year ago. I borrowed it a few times and loved the fit and all the bells and whistles: fleece handwarmer pouch, mesh pocket, velcro paddle attachement, and bar across the middle to keep the water from pooling up and seeping in. Plus I wanted something other than mango (the color I got for my husband). Backcountry is the only place that I found a large in the blue cobalt color!
