Kokatat Gore-Tex Pullover Jacket

Kokatat made the Gore-Tex Pullover Jacket for rafting, sea kayaking, and canoe trips where the water comes at you in the form of breaking waves or torrential rain. The roll-away hood stays out of the way in mellow weather, but it comes to the rescue when the sky opens up and decides to add a couple inches to the river. Kokatat gave the Gore-Tex Pullover Jacket a neoprene waist and Lycra cuffs to reduce the chances of water slipping in and soaking your layers.

Bottom Line: For the really wet weather.

Light jacket

By:

Very light, easy to pack. Breathable? Well... as "breathable" as a waterproof jacket could be. Not ideal for harder workout. Nice design. Medium size fits me perfect (183cm high, 73kg).

Nice paddling jacket

By:
August 13, 2008

I was wearing this jacket today on a 4 hour paddling trip ... all in a steady rain. The temperature was in the 80s. I stayed really dry. The first two hours, I'd say I was completely dry. Somewhere after that, a bit of water seemed to seep down my arms. It could have been sweat. Anyway after 4 hours, I was pretty dry. Water didn't seem to bead up on the jacket as much as I'd like, though.
