I bought the Kelty Teton 2 tent and footprint. However, the

I bought the Kelty Teton 2 tent and footprint. However, the footprint doesn't seem to fit. When I set up the tent the straps of the footprint etxend beyond the tent perimeter so that I can't put the poles into the FP grommets. Any ideas?

If you can't find the exact match, pick up a light weight ground cloth. It can also double duty as an awning. Then you can party outside when its raining.

The footprint serves its purpose. It is a little tricky to properly snap in and have the tent perfectly taut. But that is why we have stakes as well. It definitely completes the package on a light freestanding tent.

First through the tent, then through the footprint. The clips are so you can set up the fly, footprint, and poles together, without the tent, as a superlight shelter.
