Kelty Screenhouse - 10' X 10' - 2007

Kelty has updated their campground and backyard bug shelter with lightweight fabrics and strong aluminum poles. The floorless shelter has great ventilation and it easily covers a picnic table for pest-free dining while still providing a 360 degree view. Its mesh panels can close against the wind and guyout points can be used to tie it down.

Bottom Line: When everyone else is stuck in their tents you'll still be outside playing cards.

Kelty Screenhouse - 10' X 10'

We purchased the Kelty Screenhouse for our infant to play on the beach in shade, and it has worked very well. The wind sweeps around and under the tent, which keeps it stable but we had to take it down due to heavy winds once in about a week of use. Comfortable to walk around inside, even for a 6ft tall person.

Great for canoe camping but replace those lousy stakes!

Definitely a godsend in buggy, rainy weather. It keeps those pesky critters at bay and actually does a really good job of shedding unexpected downpours (even if you forget to shut the screens). Sure it's a bit "flappy" and the stakes are quite crappy...replace these and you'll be quite happy (especially given the relatively light weight). It’s very easy set-up and freestanding (but always stake it out) and one of the lightest screen shelters available. Replace the stakes, though.
