I bought this after reading the other reviews. This is the perfect leash. The length is perfect for letting my beagle head out on her own but still not be too far away, and the grab handle down by the clip is great for keeping her at bay. It's been out in the rain and through the woods and it's still in great shape. The only thing I would fix is the loop for the hand, a little big for my tastes. A rock solid leash!

This is without a doubt the best leash ever created. It has the easiest clip on, and the best handles without a doubt. The handle down by the clip is perfect for keeping the dog close and away from other people etc. It is durable and strong. Last camping trip I got my car stuck in the sand and we actually used the leash to hook to an ATV to pull me out!

This by far the best leash I have used. I love the handle near the collar, its great when you want to hold your dog right next to you, great idea. The material used is top notch my dog has nit even snagged it yet, and she loves to chew on leashes. The clip is great and I love the length of the leash as well. I can't think of one problem with this leash.

The Kelty K-9 is the best dog leash that I've found. In fact, it changed my dog's behavior on a leash, for the better. It's easy to attach and release, and the grab handle on the leash is great for emergencies. It is truly "non-chewable," and my dog's favorite toy is a rope-tug. If her rope-tug not close-by, she'll grab the leash in her mouth and use it as a tug toy. The leash has stood up perfectly, and shows no wear (in over 150 miles of use). To me, this is the perfect leash, for walking (and hiking with) my dog.

This rope is a great rope for a dog that has a tendency to pull, like our German Shorthair Pointer. It's easy on the hands and the small grab strap at the front is good for close proximities. It's a long rope, too long if your dog has a tendency to walk beside you, but great otherwise.

We have tried multiple rope leashes, only to come back to the Kelty Rope Leash. The movement of the clip allows comfort for the dog, while the thickness of the rope is comfortable for the owner. This is the only leash we will ever own!

My wife and I enjoy running with our Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound mix. She is a very powerful dog and the retractable leash we have been using didn't feel like it was going to hold up. The Kelty Leash is great and our dog seems to do really well with on our long runs and walks. I strongly recommend this item for those of you that like to take your dogs on challenging hikes, runs, or walks
