Kelty Pagoda Tent 4-Person 3-Season - 2006

The Kelty Pagoda 4 is a comfy dome tent that combines the best characteristics of backpacking and family tents. The Pagoda's progressive dome shape makes the wall nearly vertical near the bottom of the tent to maximize usable floor and vestibule space. Similar to many ultralight tents, the Pagoda's ceiling is mesh, which works with the side vents for superior ventilation. No stuffy, stagnant tent air for your crew. A unique organizer all provides a variety of convenient pockets to function as a wilderness medicine cabinet, nightstand, or dresser. Kelty's Kung-fu remains strong at the trailhead with the Pagoda.

This tent is outstanding. It is very easy to set-up, looks cool, and is very spacious. At first I thought it might be a little harder to set up then a regular dome tent, but I did it very quickly the first time. I bet I could set this thing up in the dark in about 5-10 minutes. I love the open mesh ceiling. There are also plenty of places to store stuff inside the tent. I decided to stick with Kelty because my Kelty 2 person tent has lasted many years. I was not disappointed at all. Kelty did a great job with the Pagoda 4. Get the footprint that goes with this tent too.
