Kayland M11+ Mountaineering Boot - Women's

As you work your way along a 16,000-foot-high ridgeline or climb a mixed route replete with overhangs, the Kayland Women’s M11+ Boots keep your feet warm and dry. The eVent liners stop moisture from seeping in but let your perspiration out. Warm, lightweight, compressible PrimaLoft insulation works like down except it continues to insulate when wet. The integrated gaiters block ice and spindrift and stop your pants from riding up during overhung dry tooling. Laces that go all the way to the toes ensure a precise fit, while Vibram Teton outsoles give you traction on the icy, snowy approach. Kayland added a flower imprint to the suede uppers to give your burly boots a feminine touch.

Bottom Line: Test your limits on ice and rock.

Anyone tried out these boots? Im a medium foot width, normal arch; wondering if these would make a good buy for not only climbing but mountaineering as well.

I live in Colorado and I have these boots. I bought them mainly for ice climbing and mountaineering around 13,000-14,000ft. They fit my foot great and they are really comfortable to hike in. I think I have a pretty average foot. These were the only boots I could find that my heel would stay down in while climbing.
My biggest complaint is that they are not quite warm enough on those cold windy days when I am standing around belaying. My toes freeze up. Otherwise, they do stay dry and they are very responsive.
I am pretty happy with them. Was lucky enough to find a sweet pair of used hard shell boots for $15 to keep me warmer on the really cold days.
