I know it seems like an iffy proposition to order shoes online, but in this case, everything worked out great. These boots are just what I wanted - warm, grippy in the snow, and more stylish for sure than my tried and true original Sorels (I love my Sorels but they're pretty lumbering to wear around town). The one and only drawback to these babies is that they don't have a pull-on loop, which is really handy on boots that aren't lace-ups. I think they're comfy and "me" anyway...and they'll get a workout this winter for certain.
