Kaenon Jetty Sunglasses - Polarized

Whether it's a day of wakeboarding or a game of volleyball on the beach, the Kaenon Jetty Sunglasses' polarized lenses provide crystal clear vision and unparalleled sun protection. The Jetty's revolutionary SR-91 lenses give you both the lightweight durability of a polycarbonate lens and the clarity of a glass lens. The wrap-around design ensures a comfortable, stable fit during the bumpiest boat or mountain bike rides. Kaenon made these shades versatile enough to handle high activity sports as well as the cool down afterwards on the bar patio.

Bottom Line: The Kaenon Jetty Sunglasses take you from the beach to the bar with complete eye protection and a little style on the side.

Kaenon shades rule, I especially like the Jetty. They are super stylie but most importantly the lenses are so nice. They are durable and so nice to spend a sunny day looking through. I love em!!

Deadly

My last two pairs of shades were Polarized Oakley Gas Cans, and they were sic. When I lost my last pair I decided to go with the Kaenon Jetty Seaweed G12s. I'm glad I did. Better polarization and worlds better for deflecting glare. There were times checking the surf and tuna fishing when I had to take the polarized Oakleys off because the glare off the ocean's surface was so funky that it was tripping my eyes out. With the Kaenons that glare is gone, plain and simple. I can see right through the water. They're also lightweight and fit to the face nicely... a pleasure to wear.

That's the crazy thing!!! People don't know how bad their lenses are and their polarized lenses are until they try something as good as these... How do you get the word out that these Kaenon Lenses are so good?????

C stands for Copper and G stands for Gray. It's the lens color. (If you're wondering what the number means, it's the percentage of visible light that the lens lets through - so a G12 = a Gray lens that lets in 12% of the visible light)

Best ever

I just ordered the Jetty in Matte Black G12 lens and they are outstanding! The matte black is so stealth and classy it is unreal. I own several Kaenon sunglasses and I'm addicted - they are crack for your eyes. If you are considering Kaenon, don't wait any longer and get them now. You will not be disappointed. No other brand can compare to Kaenon, not even close.

The 12 stands for light transmission so that the lens is letting in 12% of light and blocking 88%. Kaenon also sells an amazing C28 which is a copper lens that lets in 28% of visible light into the eye and it is an outstanding lens tint for ANY low light activity, golf, fishing, biking, skiing, sailing, you name it. The C28 is only available in the sporty styles like the Kore, Hard Kore, Rhino and UPD.

Sweet Shades

By:

I've bought 2 additional pairs of these shades for my close friends. They fit great and the polarized lens makes a big difference compared to other high end glasses that don't go polarized. Top notch, I like the black on black lens.

The only choice for polarized glasses

By:
March 20, 2009

I've been very impressed with every Kaenon product I've used. The quality of the optics is unmatched. I've used polarized products from other manufacturers and these are by far the best for all-around use. In fact, every other brand's polarization isn't wearable for day-to-day use because of the rainbow effect and other distortions--not so with Kaenon. I've got the gloss black frames with the SR91 grey lenses and they provide the perfect casual look.

The only downer is they don't stay on top of my head very well when I place them there... gotta be careful when in the restroom or they might drop in the drink. And since these aren't really athletic glasses (get the Kore's for that), the lack of rubber on the temples is OK.

When I put them on for the first time, my buddy said "Very David Lee Roth!" Really nice optics and finish quality. Nice case and sleeve, too. I've had many pairs of Smiths over the years, and an Oakley and Anon here and there. I'm pleased with my first Kaenons.

X-ray Vision

Wow! These sunglasses are awesome! I had never heard of them before my friend let me try a pair out. I can see things that I would never be able to see with other sunglasses. My friends think I'm crazy because I'm always pointing things out that they can't even see. I can see the ripple effect of the safety glass, on car windows and can see right through the reflection off of water, right to the bottom of lakes and streams. I've owned other polarized sunglasses before but they don't even come close to these. I would recommend these in any conditions, but especially for use on water.
