Kokatat OutFit Tour Life Jacket - 2007

Copious reflective tape and plenty of pockets make the OutFIT Tour a great touring PFD. The OutFIT is uniquely tailored to adjust comfortably and to securely fit a wide range of body shapes. Innovations include adjustable, thermo-molded foam padded shoulders with non-slip Hypalon grip panels, stretch side panels for excellent freedom of movement, and articulated foam that contours to your torso in all the right ways. Superlative construction is simply what you get. The icing on the cake are two front stretch mesh organizer pockets, an internal stash pocket, dual side adjustments, and a quick-snap waist. As with all Kokatat PFD's, the OutFIT meets or exceeds US Coast Guard buoyancy standards.

Bottom Line: Marries comfort with function for a beautiful relationship.

Don't even know it's there.

I finally got a chance to get out in the kayak with the OutFit jacket & I was very pleased with it. I had it on for 6.5hrs & I would not have even noticed I had it on except that I was constantly pulling gear out of the pockets of the jacket. It was nice to be able to quickly get to my camera & GPS. The pockets are not water proof, but I keep my camera in a ziploc bag, so problem solved. I'd definitely recommend this jacket.

Is the electronics pocket water resistant? Or is this meant for waterproof electronics?

Water resistant yes, but not waterproof. You could put either kind of electronics in it, but waterproof would definitely be recommended.

Kokatat Outfit Tour

Outstanding pfd. I purchased it after tryig out a friend's pfd. Easy to paddle in, comfortable, adjustable, and you can store essentials in it.

I spent a lot of time practicing self rescues with it on, an I was happy with the profile.

Don't get too carried away with loading your pfd up with survival gear...it will negate the buouyancy.

I spent a long time chatting to mates before choosing a pfd and I am delighted with the results.
