Twenty-five percent more breathable than the classic Gore-Tex, Gore-Tex XCR is the ultimate in waterproof breathability. Translation: the TecTOUR Anorak keeps you more comfortable as you push hard for the shoreline to beat a breaking squall. Sprint to punch through a wave before it breaks on your head—but don't worry about getting soaked. The TecTOUR Jacket features a double skirt with a SmoothSkin neoprene waistband, sealed seams, and latex gaskets with Lycra overcuffs to seal out splash. Reflective tape on the hood and sleeves increase your visibility to other boaters in low-light conditions. A zippered sleeve pocket with key lanyard ensures you'll never be stuck calling a locksmith from the pull-out.

A really touring jacket

I have been padling for 12 years with different jackets. I am paddling in the north of Norway where a good jacket is recommended also in the summer because of low temperature in the water. This is the best touring jacket so far. It's lightweight but still a serious jacket for ocean paddling.

Just back from a week paddling in the Broken Island Group off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Used my new Kokatat Gore-Tex paddling jacket every day .. it was fantastic! Had to spend a whole day sitting out a gale ... 25 knot winds and horizontal rain! The jacket kept me warm and dry ... very glad that I bought it!
