Support your feet sufficiently on your next trail run with the Keen Women's Wasatch Crest Trail Running Shoes. They have an S3 heel support structure that supports your foot on impact, which lowers shock and ankle problems. The integrated arch and forefoot stabilization plate gives you the support you need on uneven terrain. Keen gave the Wasatch Crest Trail Running Shoes an asymmetrical flex lace system so you can tighten them for a custom fit.
Bottom Line: Fight off sore feet and ankles on your next hike with the Keen Wasatch Crest Trail Running Shoes.
I love them. They are comfortable and very cool looking. I love the laces. I have a bad ankle and arthritis and these are very good. Not the most balanced shoe, but they make up for it in style. I LOVE BACKCOUNTRY.COM they sent everything very fast and they had the best prices I could find on the net. I will be ordering from them a lot in the future.
Never owned a Keen shoe before but I will now be one of their best customers. I hiked rim to rim with this shoe barely out of the box (I ordered it a week before my hike), 23 miles in a day and not one blister. Thanks Backcountry.com I will continue to shop you first, I really appreciate your fast and free shipping and the reviews are what helped me choose this shoe.
Can someone please compare the KEEN Wasatch Crest to the Shellrock and/or the Vorageur or Ridgeline? I can't find a store to try any of these on and I'm wanting some comfy Keen running-type shoes. Not too worried about being waterproof b/c it's so dry here. Just wanting comfort/cushioning. Any thoughts?
I think these are great for walking or hiking. I have done quite a bit in these. I originally thought they would serve as a running shoe but found that when I ran in them my arches hurt. An insert might help. They are my fav hiking shoe and have had no arch problems after hiking.
These shoes are great! I just went to Moab and spent a week in them and they are extremely durable and lace up nice and tight for hiking through various terrain.
I don't run, but use these as walking shoes. They are great! But then, I love any Keens egenerally. I actually bought a half size bigger because they were out of stock in my regular size. They are very comfortable.
My only complaint, like I've seen with others is that the shoelaces are too short. But this would never stop me from buying them again.
good trail shoes. I need extra arch support but otherwise very comfortable. They have good traction. I especially like the lace-up system. You don't feel the laces on the tops of your feet.
Ordering running shoes without trying them on can be a little dicey. So, I'm extra-pleased with how well the Wasatch Crests work for me. I've never bought Keen's before, thinking them too wide for my average-width feet. But, after researching online which shoes would work for my somewhat unusual feet: super high arches, very rigid, supenating/under-pronating, these came out on top. The size guide was right on for suggesting going up half a size (I normally wear a 9 and got these in a 9.5.) The shoes fit perfectly and provide all the cushioning I need to protect my knees on the shorter length trail runs I do 4 times/week. And the free shipping and prompt delivery is appreciate. Thanks, Backcountry crew!
How does this shoe compare to the Brooks Cascadia trial runners. I've had 5 pairs and love the brooks, but it is time for a change. I have high arches and need good support. I am about to run a 50 mile race and would like something comfortable with good support.
would the keen sagey be a good shoe for trails and city walking. i am going to seattle where i will be walking the city hills some days and the mountains other days...i only want to pack one pair of shoes and they need to be lightweight. help!
The shoe looked good, except for the laces, which looked like a really bad sewing job--sort of like Frankenstein's scar. I couldn't deal with it and sent them back.
I bought these shoes and took them straight to Wyoming for 10 days of camping. I wore them everyday and loved them. They were comfortable from day one. They are light yet durable and have a good style to them. Regarding sizing, I did order on the high side of my shoe size and they fit perfectly. Since then I have continued wearing them and love them. I will be ordering Keen's in the future.
super awesome shoe with great support. i put a lot of miles on at work and these shoes make a huge difference at the end of the day. only issue i had is that they run a half size too small, so order up.
I love them. I am on my feet at work and they are great. I don't think I would have had to order them 1/2 size larger, but they still fit my arch ok. I am a huge Keen Fan and will order more styles to add to my collection.
the shoe is super comfortable. Light weight. good ventilation. taking them to the rockies as my approach shoe and have absolutely no doubt that they will be awesome!!! use it for training and for the hell of it. bought it cause I'm sooo tired of looking at other sports shoes and wanted an interesting design that does not have anything to do basketball playing.
I have high arches that have gone flat. I'm very hard on shoes and the support is gone in a month. Not with these! I don't even wear my arch supports with them. I'm online right now to find another pair., The do run about a half size small.
Best shoes that I've owned, hands down. Laces are a bit short for regular tying (I have pretty high arches) but this is easily remedied by using one of the easy squeeze gizmos found at most running stores.
Since I got them, I have been wearing them quite often because they provide a lot of support to my achy feet. I am very please with this purchase and the price was reasonable.
After chatting w/ a gearhead I decided on the Wasatch Keen. I am a huge Keen fan they are the only shoes I can wear ( I have Plantar ). They arrived quickly and I put them on and LOVE THEM. They are so comfy and I went w/ my true size 7 and they fit great. They are light and offer perfect cushion and are cute looking too. I would buy them over and over.
Good day to all ! Pleased is an understatement. I am always amazed to put on a pair of Keens. I have never experienced a more comfortable shoe, be it hiker, trainer or street wear. The trainer is the fourth pair of Keens I have purchased, all locally, this was the first pair on line. They all wear extremely well for years, my first pair of hikers have never been repaired and I now have had them for 5 years. The trainer has been wonderful for walking, and living in the mountains, there are a lot of hills. For my job I need very comfortable as well as professional-looking footwear, and having arthritis these have been the only brand that absorbs the shock and pressure on pavement and rocks. Ordering on line was a pleasure, professional, quick and very convenient. I thank Keen representatives for a job well done. I always highly recommend by Keen footwear and gear. Thank you
I wore them once before I hit the trails of Colorado and had no problems at all. Very comfortable from the beginning. Usually my feet get tired after hiking all day, but not in these kicks. Definitely a good buy if you are looking for a shoe that can transition from trail running to hiking.
I love my new shoes. I can put on a pair of Keen shoes and don't have to worry about breaking them in. These are very light and very comfortable. The shoe laces are too short though.
Backcountry is the best! Fast & efficient. These shoes are the most comfortable & supportive that I have worn in a while. I have a narrow heel & a wide foot & I need a good arch support - These are all of that & more. I walk very heavy so am anxious to see how the sole wears. I love them so far. Very cushy and cool.
