This is my son's first pair of KEEN and he loves them! He wears them to school every day. He has wider feet so these are perfect fit and looks so cute on. Good sale price is a plus.

Write your question here... My granddaughter has to go on a school hiking trip and they have been instructed to get a waterproof boot for they will be in Pennsylvania in the woods living in a cabin. Will this shoe keep her feet completely dry if it should rain and does the shoe run true to size?

I would appreciate you help on this for her trip is at the end of October.

Both my son & daughter have this shoe and it seems to be quite waterproof from my experience. The only thing better would be a GoreTex treated boot. I bought rain gators for them and they wore their Keens with the gators to play in the snow and when we got home, their feet were still dry. With out rain gators you may get some wetness around the ankle or at the tongue of the shoe where there is fabric. As far as the size, you need to order a size up...they run small. For example, my daughter wears a size 1-1.5 but wears a size 2 in Keens. My kids are hooked on Keens & say they are the most comfortable shoe ever. They are such a well made shoe that they always outgrow them before they ever wear them out. I usually end up passing them onto another child we know or selling them on craigslist because they are always in such good condition when they outgrow them.

Love my hiking shoe...so comfortable. It is a little bit more roomy than the water sandles but this gives room for a thicker sock.It is also so lightweight. Great shoe!!!

My son has worn Keen Targhee shoes for the past 3 years. He is generally hard on shoes but has never worn through these, just outgrows them.
