KEEN Redmond Shoe - Men's

Lace up the KEEN Men’s Redmond Shoe when you head into the mountains for a day of hiking or a weekend camping trip. KEEN gave the Redmond a suede and nubuck upper to stand up to the rocks and stumps on the trail. The heel motion stabilizer and torsion stability shank give you the support you need for rough, uneven terrain and long, steep climbs. The EVA footbed contours to your feet, keeping your dogs comfortable on long treks, and the rubber outsole ensures slippery surfaces don’t send you tumbling down hill.

Bottom Line: Stay upright and forge ahead.

I have a pair, and I have a size 13 and a high instep. When I get New Balances (I run in them), I get EE width, so I'm suprised by some of the "narrow" comments. I LOVE them. I think having such a wide toebed my make the rest of the shoe feel narrow relatively, but over all thay kick trail.

Just got a pair and have worn them once for most of a day. I ordered a half size big since their website says these run a half size small. This is my eighth pair of Keens (shoes, sandals) and they are the most narrow of all. I found them to be "snug" on the sides with extra space in front of my toes. Though initially concerned, I think I'll get used to the fit - lots of adjustment can be made with the lace setup. My toes were happy and my feet weren't sore at the end of the day. I imagine a snug fit on the sides works best on uneven terrain on the trail. Sure would be ideal to try them in a store but no one seems to have them in stock - just sandals. Hope this helps.

great approach shoe

I like the styling and the funny lacing system works pretty well. My only beef is the she seems very tight across the ball of the foot. Maybe my feet are widened from wearing slaps too often but I found it is best to go a half size bigger and wear a proper hiking sock.

I can't make up my mind between these and the Scarpa Zen

I can't make up my mind between these and the Scarpa Zen for an all purpose trail shoe. Anyone have any thoughts or tried both on?

sold shoe. low arch

they feel light and agile...and the look is one of the best for a hiking shoe. my only concern is that the arch is limited and it is bit narrow, but they fit me well. i love the room in the toe, it makes the narrow fit feel more than tolerable.
