Even in a well-maintained boat sans holes, your chances of getting your feet wet are extremely good. Enter the Keen Newport H2 Sandal with a design that protects your toes and a non-marking sole to keep the deck clean. A fully synthetic upper puts hydrophobic material against your skin and keeps it dry. The Newport H2's hybrid shoe/sandal design is more comfortable than a full shoe and protects your foot better than a sandal. The unique anatomical outsole gives superb traction and support on sea and land, and an antibacterial footbed controls moisture and keeps the stank under control.
Bottom Line: The sea is a harsh mistress, so you need good shoes. Wear Keen's Newport H2 Sandals.
These are some great water/hiking sandals. I use them for very light hikes, especially if we're going to be in the water. They have lasted a lot longer than I expected.....don't seem to ever fall apart. They run true to size except they do fit just a hair wide. All in all great sandals for whatever terrain you're looking to conquer.
Site says 44 dollars and when I go to check out it says 94 dollars. Is it a sale or not? I already have to pay duty on them when they get here at the cost so I have to pay for them twice anyway. Do you ship to Dominica, West Indies.? I'm looking for a black sandal in a nine us size. Thanks.
Contact customer service for the site to clarify this. Sometimes, there is a sale price advertised, but this is only for a particular color or size (and the dropdown "Select options" menu will tell you the price for each size and color available). They do ship out of country (I believe that you place the item in your basket and then check out, listing your address; or you can contact customer service).
These make a great pair of shoes for playing in you local river, be it kayaking canoeing or just wading up steam. Very comfortable quality construction.
These feel like more of a lightweight, barefoot hiking shoe than a sandal. The footbed is very comfortable, and they are easy to get on and off (even when wet, using the tongue and heel loops). On dry land, they have excellent traction and provide good support. I'm sure that they would be great for beach or boat use, but (as some have noted) they don't provide great traction on slippery rocks. I spend a lot of time in rivers, and while the toe-protection is wonderful, the traction on slippery river rocks is less than I hoped. Obviously, most sandals have problems on submerged, slick rocks. But I have found that if you are wading with these sandals then get out and scramble on dry rocks, the wet soles lose much of the traction they had when they were dry.
These are the sandals I use when I know that I'm going to hike for a mile or two, wade a river, then hike back. They are easily comfortable enough for everyday use, are decent for hiking, and do well enough in the water for most people's needs.
Is there a mens 7 available in the Keen Newport H2 sandal? I am shopping for my 12 year old son. Youth 6 will be too small, but I think the mens 8 will be huge. Do they make a 7?
The Keen website says that the Newport H2 comes in a mens 7 (and 7.5), but it doesn't look like backcountry.com carries these sizes (you might want to contact them to confirm this). If you can't get this size here, you can likely find it somewhere else.
I've used these shoes on several different rafting trips and I preferred the closed toe protection that my other sport sandals didn't provide. However, I do not like to hike long distances in these sandals. Your feet tend to slip around a bit when they are wet, and because of the more covering, your feet tend to sweat more quickly in these than in other sport sandals.
Look good, they're comfy and have great wet/dry traction. Bought these to wear on a white water rafting trip last summer; performed beautifully compared to the strap sandals and water shoes most people wore. The pull-strap works really well; you can get these good and tight if you need to... makes them a bit uncomfortable if you overdo it but I can vouch for the fact that they won't get torn off your feet if you get dunked in a Class V rapid.
I wear both styles of Newport sandals (leather and H2) whenever and wherever I can. They are made for my feet! One caution, though. I discovered that I needed a half-size larger in the H2 model than in the leather Newport. Also, try the Growlers for winter weather; they are outstanding in every way!
Newport H2's are a strong and comfortable sandal, they put up with all types of terrain that I hike in but in my opinion get a little warm in hot weather particularly the toe area. Shoes run small so much so that I had to get a one size bigger. Apart from the occasional hot feet they perform well and I have not broken them yet.
Pretty comfy and durable. I am a die hard Chaco fan and will be for life, however i do need a sandal with an enclosed toe cap for work and you cant do better than this- wet or dry the sandal remains super comfy and stylish!
These are very very comfortable and stay on very well even when you step in mud. I am not sure there is a better river shoe because they stay on so well and are very stable. my only complaint is that when you a pebble in the sandal you almost have to take them off to get it out because they have a hug fit. If it is hot outside they can be a little sweaty but other then that a great sandal.
I previously wrote a review and now have more to add. While the sandal is steezy and 100% perfectly functional they just don't last. I've had mine for 2 months in Juneau Alaska kayaking, hiking, and rafting and they have already fallen apart and are unusable. sadness...
Write your question here... Any suggestions on wide, stiff soled, hiking sandles? I really like the look & concept of the Salomon Tachamphibian but hear they're more like a B or C width. I need at least a EE. The Keen Newport seems right too but I'm too clumsy to go up a half size or full size just to get the width I need.
These sandals have served extremely well on a week trip to the Boundary Waters as well as for casual use around the lake. I originally tried Soloman Tech Amphibians however my feet are too wide. These have a wide footbed and roomy toe box yet the lacing system readily takes out any excess space and ensures a good fit. The rubber front offers complete protection that other water sandals just can't compare to. I definitely recommend these!
One of the best shoes I have owned for being in and out of water. I got them to wear kayaking but found myself wearing them other places. Very durable and very comfortable.
I knew I would like them so much that I tried them on in the mud. If you have a medium arch and an average width, they will fit well. As comparison they fit kinda like Asics running shoes. The perfect water shoe.
Well this is my first pair of Keen sandals and I have to say they are fantastic. I have owned several pairs of Teva's and although those are good sandals, these Keen's outperform those in a variety of ways. These are tennis shoe comfortable, yet offer wet treking ability and best of all they keep your toes from getting stepped on or hurt by rocks. I highly recommend these to anyone wanting a sandal to do it all.
I wear a size 9.5-10 in most footwear, running with the 9.5 in the more 'quality' brands. I have a pair of Keen snoe boots that run true but I just received the sandals in a 10 and they are tiny. I will return them for a 10.5 maybe 11. I hope this helps.
Already worth the investment while walking on the rocks of Roosevelt Island. I misjudged an outcrop and whacked my toe. If they were my old Tevas, it could've been a bad day. But my Newports kept me secure and in the game. Beyond protection, they are cushy (yet supportive on longer hikes) and have so far been resistant to odor (a great feat...no pun intended). Order up a size as they run a little small. I took the advice of others and it's worked out great.
I bought a pair a year ago, and loved them. I finally convinced my wife to try some, and now she's a believer. This is one of the best sandals I've purchased, and I'll be sure to look at Keen when I need to replace my boots.
Not just a great sandal but worth the price. I say this because I bought a pair of similar sandals by Lands End that lasted less than two months. Their sandal fabric & stitching is weak & the sole is thinner thus not good for long walks.
Just did a major bog-slog through the Beliem Valley in West Papua (Indonesia) on 100k approach to Carstensz-climb. Jungle, swamp, knee-deep mud, river-crossings... used my Newport H2s on these wet tracs and they held up great (the toe-box a critical asset here).
I am trying to buy a water sandal for my 12-year-old son. He wears a 7 in men's shoes generally, but I can't find a Keen (which is what he usually wears in the summer) that is in that size. Should I buy the youth 6 or the adult 8? I'm not sure what the size difference is.
I would say the Adult 8. It gives some growing room and will not be too small like the six will. If he is a 7 in mens then stepping up to a 8 will not be a big deal.
I bought these because I heard they were very comfortable. After lots of walking in my Tevas the balls of my feet hurt and I can feel the shock in my knees. After spending entire days in my Venice H2s my feet don't hurt a bit! My entire foot is cushioned and I love the wide toe box. Only drawback is the antimicrobial treatment didn't last long. They developed sandal funk pretty quickly, so they only get worn every other day and get the occasional scrub and soak.
I bought these sandals to use wading from island to island in S. Florida. I have to say they have performed very well so far. They are very comfortable, and the closed toe area, and thick bottoms give piece of mind while walking through areas with sharp shells and barnacles. They are very water proof. Some sandals become loose after being in the water for a while but these never loose their strength. Just rinse them off at the end of the day and you are good to go.
I have been wearing Keen Newports almost daily for about a year. They are one of the most comfortable examples of footwear I have ever owned. Also they seem to be well made, they still look like new after all this wear. No failures.
I just ordered a pair of Newport H2, same size, but they are definitely smaller. I can not get them on my foot while the first pair of standard Newports slip on easily. So be warned, you might have to order a size larger in the H2's as compared to the standard Newports.
I am going to order 3 more pair of Keen Newports immediately, just in case Keen does something insane, like discontinue this model of great sandals.
Great fit! The H2 did run a half size small for me, so I ordered an 11 instead of 10.5 (usual) and they fit great. The H2 is also great for people who have wide feet. I wasn't crazy about the style so I ended up returning them and purchasing the KEEN COPPER CANYON for more of a sneaker look.
For me they were true to fit. In fact I usually wear a 10 but I almost bought a 9.5 when I tried them on in the store but ended up buying a 10, in case I ever wear them with socks on colder nights camping.
I love these sandals, well... shoes... I love them for white water rafting as well as for hiking. Great all around sandal, I wish there was some ventilation for the bottom of your feet...
I have had 3 pairs of these over the last 3 or 4 years and they just rule. I originally found a pair for $30 in a UK branch of TJ Maxx - my Nike sandals had lived a long life but were done and these seemed like a cheap quick-fix. Well, how lucky was I. They have done everything - hiking on the Isle of Bute in Scotland, rock-scrambling in Death Valley, river crosses in Southern England and general tourism around the globe. They are a perfect fit and the adjustable toggle is a great addition - for general walking it is best off, serious walking needs it tightened. They are super-hard wearing, quite easy to clean and all-round the best technical sandals I have ever owned. Buy them !
Well, I got my pair the other day and tried them on. They seem to be well made and high quality, and I'm sure they'll more than stand up to anything you can dish out to them and come back for more. Maybe I have sensitive feet, but the bumper in the front of the sandal made my feet sweat. Too hot! Also the tip of my little toe was just a hair away from escaping. I sent them back. They may work for somebody else but they didn't for me.
I've wanted this sandal from the first time I saw it, so when I read a review indicating that their wide foot fit with no problems, I ordered them. They came and they are really on time. I would love them if they fit. If you have a wide foot (eee) forget them. Most wide feet have a high arch and this sandal has no volume. It's made to fit tight and does. Alas, they got sent back. To those of you who have a regular (d) width, I envy you.
I have heard some say order half size larger, other say do not. All I can tell you is that I normally wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 and they fit great. I wear them around water and wouldnt want them so tight they rub.
Great sandals. Very comfortable and although well ventilated, they are made to protect your feet in most outdoor feats. I would suggest you get a half size larger.
These shoes have great rubber and serve well as rock climbing approach shoes. Except they have one major flaw. I have had two pairs, each for less than 1 month and the tab at the back has pulled off one shoe on each pair in 2 and 3 weeks respectively. (And I was more careful about pulling on the tab on the second pair!) You should be able to expect to pull on this tab to get your foot into the shoe (and clip them onto a biner to carry up a climb).
While these sandals have the comfort of Keens, the stitching seems a little under par, as the stitches began to come out on the side the second day wearing them. I was able to fix them, just to avoid the trouble of shipping and returning. I also wish the heel strap were a bit tighter. Otherwise, they're great.
(I am however beginning to lose faith in the durability of Keens. My girlfriend's boots are coming apart after 10+/- uses.)
Always wanted something well ventilated with the toes somewhat protected. I can where into the warehouse at work. Not OSHA, but more comfortable on 108F days.
upon buying the sandal i was super stoked. extremely comfortable, very functional and quite fashionable. Problem is that the sandal absorbs your sweat and after acouple days of wear smells terrible I wear them every day and the only other problem is that the insole gets slippery when wet and the moisture doesn't escape.
From the Keen FAQ - Both the Newport and Venice sandals coming in standard or H2 versions. The standard Newport and Venice have leather uppers, while the H2 models feature synthetic (polyester webbing) uppers. Both are fine for use in and out of water, but if you plan on submerging them on a regular basis, the H2 is a better choice – the nylon webbing upper and rubberized foot bed dry faster, absorb less water and subsequently stay lighter during water use. Finally, the nylon webbing straps will not expand when wet.
These shoes have been great in the Arizona desert! It's nice that there's finally a set of rugged, comfortable sandals with closed toes! The anti-bacterial insole has proven effective as well (no Teva-like funk after several wearings!)
These sandals are by far the best sandals I have ever owned, I wear them almost everywhere I go. They are comfortable and have great support. I have tried almost every brand of sandal made; I have finally found the Holy Grail of Sandals. Worth Every Penny.
I was expecting to use this sandal/shoe for sailing this summer. However, it has proven to be the perfect approach shoe for climbing. Everyone else wears sandals. The H2s are better because they protect your toes. There is a lot of scree on most approaches and these do a great job of protecting da feet. But they get pretty stinky if you wear them a lot, but everybody should be getting there shoes stinky.
We ride mountain bikes, and frequently cross streams, etc. These are PERFECT. I wanted the comfort of a sandal, but needed the closed-toe protection. Couldn't have designed them better myself :-) I wear a women's 9 1/2 wide so I bought size 8 men's and they are perfect. Was wearing them for class to "break them in"(I teach CPR, etc.)but they don't need it. Comfortable right out of the box, even on my feet all day. KUDOS to Keen! Will be a repeat customer.
im having a problem picking a sport sandal. Im interested in the Teva Karnali Wraptor and the Keen Newport H2 and the Keen Venice H2. I plan to use the sandal when I use my canoe, beach trips, and hiking around rivers. Any advice on which sandal I should purchase?
Go with the Keen! Keen products are high quality are very comfortable. Both the newport and venice are a great sandal, but if I were you I would go with the newport because it is on SALE!
If you spend any amount of time wearing shoes, get a pair of these. They are comfortable, waterproof, totally breathable. They protect your toes, unlike Tevas. They are my new favorite shoes.
The Keens performed very well combined with a pair of performance socks while hiking out of the Grand Canyon. The only compliant is that when walking in sand, the sand will quickly infiltrate the sandal and pack up under your feet. This is typical with most sandals, however, due to the tight fit and closed web design of the Keens you can not shake the sand out and it quickly becomes very uncomfortable and annoying.
These are great looking and very comfortable sandals. They are a little tough to get on and off quickly. They do have the elastic and the neoprene, but if you just want to throw them on and go, its a little tough....you have to usually sit and put them on, or do the stork dance for about thirty seconds, then catch up to your friends who are two hundred yards up the trail.
I bought the Keen Newport H2 sandals just for our vacation. I wanted something that would hold up on hiking trails, in the sand, and in the surf that also had toe protection.
We just got back from Kaua'i, where I hiked the trails, sandy beaches, and walked in the surf. (Yeah, it's Paradise!) After two weeks of abuse, on the sandals not my toes, my Keen H2's still look new! Oh, yeah, I never did unpack my hiking boots; didn't need 'em.
So far theyre durable; Ive been out on boats with these for weeks. They don't slip on slick surfaces, and the covered toe saved my toes from a dock cleat on the first day.
The Keen Newport H2 sandals I ordered are awesome! I opted for free shipping, knowing I was leaving for the beach in a week. They arrived in three days! I won't wear regular shoes all summer!
I love these sandals. I've had them for 2 months now and wear them any time I am outside. Great for hiking, amusement parks, Frisbee. They're not great on the beach, but they're not really made for the beach either.
I purchased a pair of Keen H2 Sandals. I wear them on my wave runner and casually. They are supposed to be odor resistant but they are not. That is one of the main reasons I purchased them because I knew they were going to be wet the majority of the time I wear them. They might not have as bad an odor as normal sandals, but they do have an odor. I love everything else about them.
I was deciding between the taos/boulders or the Newport and I have always been a Teva sandals guy. These are great! I used them for river hiking and they worked like a charm. And I can't forget the deal I got here, simply awesome!
This shoe is so comfortable that I forget I am wearing a sandal. My feet stay nice and cool, and the footbed never gets yucky. I can wear it to work, and head to the river for some after work fun. A true amphibian.
The Newport H2 Sandals are great for working water with big rocks. The toe guard sure saved my digits. One complaint: if the river you're riding has small rocks in the bed you'll be digging them out of your sandals all day.
Took a several mile hike up a stream this last weekend and the Keens (Newport) were great. Best hiking shoe for water hikes I've ever had!! One problem is that the sand will enter the shoe when stepping into pools but from rock to rock they are great. However, watch for the slippery stuff.
So my brother got these shoes / sandals and I thought they were pretty cool. So I got some and they proved to be very useful when it came to hiking in rivers. Everyone is trying to avoid the water, and I just go walking through like it's nothing. Andhey are very comfortable. The one bad thing would be, that you get little rocks stuck in them.
I first bought a pair of Keen Newport H2's on a trip up north visiting family about 4 or 5 years ago. Since then I have bought 3 more pairs and wear them literally every single day. Maybe the greatest thing about these is that if they get a little dirty, sweaty, etc you can just run them under the faucet for a while and leave them tilted up to dry in your bathtub. Or if really bad, use a little soap in this process. They clean up good as new. I've worn these for everything from hiking Na Pali in Hawaii, to trekking through the woods, to theme parking, to walking through ankle high puddles in thunderstorms, to work with socks and business attire for years, to just crossing the street to get groceries or my mail. I hope Keen never ever discontinues this line. Apart from their phenomenal functionality, I absolutely love their look. The next biggest draw of the H2's as sandals for me is that they have a closed toe. You'll never stub your toes or be scooping up sand or other debris in these. If you do wear them with jeans or long pants, if you wear a matching sock no one will ever know you're even wearing sandals either. They blend in looking like shoes, but since they are sandals they let your feet stretch out and breath. Also are a wonderful thing to wear when you're traveling and in airports having to take your footwear off and on. Once adjusted and on your foot, a simple pull down of the rear strap gets them off easily. That being said, because they are a full sandal with rear material, they never come off. I've worn them on roller coasters and short runs many times. My only reasons for ever even replacing these has been for the sake of having another color or just because I've literally worn them 365 days a year and the tread has worn down. But they will last you a long long time. I'm just unusual in wearing mine so so much. Even with that though, it's taken me a good 2 1/2 years to wear the tread to a point where I might (and I only say might) need to replace them. You don't generally find these on sale very much, but as I've said with all of their different pluses in this review, they are WELL worth the price. Buy these!!
Great, fun, versatile shoe with really good support. I love the solid sole. I feel the arch is slightly forward (for my foot anyway). Mine are holding up fairly well, but I feel they have stretched out nearly a full size. Little rocks and sand are a pain...but then again if I didnt want a sandal I would have gotten some Salomon Amphibs.
These sandals are very comfortable, but since they have the black rubber toe they tend to hold heat in when you are not moving around. Don't expect that cool Birkenstock feeling, the air does not flow through these sandals unless you are moving. In cool temps they are great and in and around water they are great. They look good and are well made, but if you want sand and air to breeze over your feetbuy flip-flops.
The H2 Keens are the best sandal that I have ever worn. I bought them for use in wet environments but was surprised to find out just how comfortable they really are, with a low-cut hiking sock or without, the comforts the same! I wear them all the time almost every day. I would highly recommend the H2 to anyone. I recently threw away my old Merrell waterproof sandals because I just don't think that I will ever wear them anymore.
I suffer from diabetic neuropathy and this is one of about two shoe models I've found which do not require me to where thick socks. I wore them with bare feet for the first time for about 16 hours straight at a motorcycle rally with no problems. I have since rotated them daily with a pair Bass Pro Shop Hydro Lite Deck Shoes and both have been wonderful. This is the first time in ten years I've been able to wear shoes with no socks. I've not tried them in water yet but plan to this weekend. You will never regret purchasing these shoes.
Comfy, great toe protection, good grip, water proof, easy to clean, good looking & these are the 1st non leather soul sandals that didn't crack my heal. Only draw back is that rocks & sand doesn't find it's way out (because of the smaller slits between the sandals). The Keen Venice H2 Sandal would probably be a better buy if your worried about this. Overall awesome sandal!
This is a great product. I needed footwear in which to walk and wade. The H2 delivers. I often take short hikes to locations where I like to fly fish. The H2 is comfortable to wear while giving arch support and protection against underwater obstacles. I am very satisfied.
I am getting a lot of use out of these shoes so far this summer. They are cool & comfortable, but rugged. Thanks to info in another review, I knew to order the shoes 1/2 size bigger than my normal size. They are a little hard to slip on, and I am concerned that the loop may not be strong enough for a good hard pull. That being said, I would advise anybody seeking a shoe that can easily go from the water to hiking and climbing to buy a pair immediately.
These are great. I recently got a pair for a trip to Costa Rica. Loved them. They are extremely comfortable and well made. I highly recommend them for any use.
I purchased these Keens to take on a trip to Florida. We were at Disney for 7 full days and at the beach for another 4. I broke them in by wearing them with socks on for a couple of weeks before the trip. I did have some issues during the trip with the shoes rubbing but I guess that should be expected with wearing new shoes for 9 miles a day. I wore them every other day to give my feet a break. I really do enjoy the shoes and the flexibility they offer--allowing me to trek through the concrete jungle at Disney or on sandy beaches.
I like the shoes, not love them, at least not yet.
I heard great things about these sandals, but I was skeptical. I was wrong. They are some of the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. The only minor downside is that your feet do not stay quite as cool as other sandals.
Tried my first pair of keen's about 18 months ago. Wore them hard for work and play. Washing them when needed in the clothes washer. They are still holding up. Great support, long lasting. Just bought 3 new pairs. Don't change your design or quality.
i love these i wear them at least once everyday, i have had many pairs of Teva's and Chaco's but these are my new favorites. i can wear them to work because of the closed toe which is really nice because i never stub my toes anymore, I wear them biking, hiking, at work, school, town, in the lake, in the yak, everywhere!
I ordered these sandals for my husband who is a size 11. I ordered the 11's, but they run a little small, so instead of returning them, I gave them to our son. He loves them so far, but has yet to use them outdoors.
Tried them first on a trip to the Keys last week, fishing the flats from both boat and overboard. They fit well, and I was especially thankful they had the tighten down bungee lacing to secure the sandal from pulling off. some of the flats on the bay side are bedded with fine silt that seems more like quick sand, and grabs everything stepping into it. on the neg side, the tops of my little toes were rubbed sore by the webbing on both pair, it may be just an anatomical issue with my feet, nonetheless, it made wearing them uncomfortable the first few days. hopefully it'll diminish the longer I wear them, if I can continue.
I love my new sandals! I ordered men's sandals as I wear a size 11 womens and the mens Newports were wide enough for me. My only complain is that I have a really high arch and have found that on long hikes that I could use a little more arch support. I wear small arch supports on long hikes with them and so far all is perfect since. This site had the best price by far and I am looking forward to my upcoming raft trip to try my Newports out in the water.
I've wanted a pair of these for a while but I wear 2E width and my regular size didn't fit. I ordered one size up and they are GREAT! They are perfect for fishing and boating and are comfortable enough to wear when walking longer distances. Qucik drying. If you normally wouldn't spend this much on sandals (like me), they are worth every penny.
My Keen sandals are truly keen. They are so comfortable I forget I have them on. Sport fishing action can be fast and furious. When your backing down on a fish, and taking water over the transom the last thing you want to worry about is staying in your shoes. My Keens stick really good; and dry quickly afterward.
Sandals are great! A little stiff on first wear, but broke in quickly and has not gotten soft. They have just the right flexibility and firmness. They also recover well after getting wet and the colors so far have not dulled. Easy to put on and off. I have even wore them without securing the back ankle strap and the sandals are fine for casual walking and stills maintains its form and function later. The sandals have not stretched out or shrank. Thus, get the perfect size. They do run about a half size bigger. So thanks to the prior reviewer who advised to get a half size smaller. Overall, a very versatile, comfortable, breathable, and toe protected footwear for all types of outdoor activities.
I recently purchased the Newport H2 Mens Sandal, and I simply love them. Theyre perfect for working in and out of a boat or near water. Its great to have the support and comfort of a normal shoe, but the ability to transit between land and water easily. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I have been wearing Keens for some time now, but this is the first time I have talked my husband into them. I got them for him to wear on our trip to North Carolina and he loved them!! I have 5 pair and hope to talk him into a few more pair. Thanks
Overall, I'm very happy with my Keen purchase. I've taken it to the beach, trail walks, walks in the city and it has performed really well. The overall comfortability is there, however perhaps due to my flat footedness, the rear strap is just a tab bit abrasive. Not too bad and it's a manageable feel. I would recommend this to others.
I purchased the Newport and H2 at the same time. One for street and one for stream. Somehow, the H2 felt slightly shorter and more narrow in the toe area. Granted, I have a hammer-toe, and may be too sensitive to these things, but just wanted to share that the H2's did feel a bit different than the regular leather Newports. Up a size would have been too big, but my regular Keen size just wasn't comfortable in the H2 model.
When I first slipped my feet into these sandals, I wasn't sure I liked the way they felt, but I soon decided that they're very comfortable, more comfortable than my Birkenstocks. I like the toe protection, and I like the style. My usual shoe size is 10-1/2, which is the size I purchased, and the fit is just right for me.
