Great—you forgot an extra pair of shoes and now you have to wear your bike shoes during the outdoor concert (dancing might be a disaster) or into the coffee shop to meet your friends (watch out for the slippery floor). The KEEN Women’s Commuter Cycling Sandals have a full-length SPD-compatible plate so you don’t have to deal with extra footwear. Rubber on the toe helps protect your piggies, an Aegis Microbe Shield keeps sweaty-foot smell at bay, and the removable footbed aids in quick drying.

I've tried Keen Newports and know a 9 fits my fairly wide

I've tried Keen Newports and know a 9 fits my fairly wide foot perfectly. I've read reviews elsewhere indicating this commuter version is narrower (makes sense for a cycling shoe). Nobody in my city carries them to try on and see if I need to go up a half size before ordering...any advice?

The Keens I've bought run a little wide. I normally wear a 7 1/2 to an 8 but a 7 1/2 is generously large and wider than I need.
