Karhu Jil Telemark Ski - Women's - 2005

The Karhu Jill Women's Telemark Ski excels in off-piste conditions while remaining extremely versatile. Karhu gave their fattest women's ski (124/90/113mm) a progressive sidecut so that the wide ski has a quick, agile feel. A progressive sidecut means the ski has a much wider tip than tail, so it's easy to initiate and come out of turns. Karhu adds a titanal top sheet making the ski light and quick turning while ensuring a solid edge hold on carves. The result is a ski that pops quick turns in the trees, and still lays down a hard turn when you make your way onto the groomers.

Bottom Line: A fat ski with a nimble feel.

The Jils are awesome off piste! I bought these skis for powder and backcountry and love them! They float on powder and plow through rougher snow without getting tossed at all. The skis are super responsive and snappy, and I love the width under foot. I am very pleased!
