K2 Missbehaved Ski - Women's

If snow were mud, the K2 Women's Missbehaved Alpine Ski would be a monster truck at a Kentucky county fair dirt rally. This ladies' specific fat twin just keeps getting wider, meaner, and hungrier for barbecued ribs slathered in Jack Daniel's sauce. A progressive sidecut gives you g-force turn power and triaxial braiding over a BioFlex core plows over pow and crud like they're a row of junkyard cars. K2 gave the Missbehaved some tip and tail rocker mudflaps to keep you above the dirty deep.

Bottom Line: Yeeeeeehaw, we're goin' to the demo derby!

I can buy these skis from a friend in 169's for $250 with some Duke bindings (I would put those on other skis.) I am 5'2" 120 lbs. and have been destroying some soloman screams for the passed few years. (I've been told a few times that I need a much more advanced ski - props to me.) Would this be a good purchase, or just way too much to handle? I would feel comfortable in the 159's, but wondering if this length could be too much. The girl that's selling them (5'4" 120lbs.) and tore her ACL don't want that to happen to me. Wish I could try them first, but can't.

Backcountry.com does not really have that info. If you call K2 they would be able to tell you that right over the phone.

I can't find a pair to demo but I have ridden the 2008 K2

I can't find a pair to demo but I have ridden the 2008 K2 Nancy in the 159's and was wondering if they are similar. I'm also looking at the Volkl Kiku's but I fear they may be a bit much for me. I'm 5'2 115 pounds and didn't like the Aura's that I tried.

Im inbetween wanting the K2 Missbehaved and the Volkl Aura Alpine

Im inbetween wanting the K2 Missbehaved and the Volkl Aura Alpine Ski. I'm sure i'll just have to demo them both, but has anyone have any opinions on either? I already have the k2 phat luvs if they can be compared to those skis as well... which i love those.. i just want more to add to my collection;)

These are both extremely different skis than the Phat Luv. The Phat Luv is more of a All-mountain Carve ski while the Missbehaved and Aura are all-mountain/powder oriented skis. They are going to be better off-piste (off the groomed) since they are wider and will float on soft snow and charge through crud better. The Volkl Aura is probably closest to the K2 Phat Luv in terms of ski size. Both would be great options and ski very similar, the Missbehaved is just a little bit wider.

Much as I hate to refer a fellow BC Gear Guru to REI, they do have the 169 in stock on their website. Check it out.
