K2 Lotta Luv Ski w/ Marker M1 11.0 Ti Binding - Women's - 2008

If you're spending a whole lotta time wringing your hands over all the women's ski options out there, the K2 T Nine Lotta Luv Alpine Ski is the pot of gold at the end of your ski rainbow. When you're out on the ski hill, you're like a kid in a candy store. A great big candy store with groomers, trees, powder fields, and moguls. What's a girl to do? Just grab a ski that cruises on a whole lotta terrain, and you're as good to go as a hyper leprechaun hopping around with a box of marshmallow cereal. A healthy dash of sidecut with MOD monic and metal laminate construction cruises the hard pack as smoothly as buttah, while a floaty surface area keeps flying on top of the pow. And the Lotta Luv has a whole lotta resilience when it comes to chopping right through the crud, so you won't be tossed around. The integrated Marker M1 binding system is precisely designed to maximize the power transfer from your boot to a T Nine ski.

Bottom Line: For women who luv powder, corduroy, hidden glades, and colored marshmallows.

Any thoughts on comparison of the Rossignol voodoo sc 80 versus the K2 Lotta luv for adavanced skier who loves steep, and powder, not as much bumps?

Skied the Ross. Voodoo this past weekend and turned them in after the first day and got the Lotta Luv's. No comparison ... Lotta Luv was fun and turned great in powder and the groomers. I'm looking to buy a pair. The Voodoo felt like a child's ski... didn't hold a turn well and not any fun.

My son bought me a pair of these skis (prob last year's model

My son bought me a pair of these skis (prob last year's model as the graphics are different) from Backcountry. They arrived & I was thrilled (after years of using my ski-racing kids hand-me-downs!)! They didn't come w/bindings, which I didn't realize would be a problem. My local shop tells me that K2 only sells these w/bindings & Backcountry claims not to have any. Any ideas where I might get a pair of bindings?

I bought mine with the bindings (Marker M1 11.0 Ti Binding) and I absolutely love these skis. For the bindings only, you can check out Marker's website www.markerusa.com

I can't decide between this ski and the Burnin' Luv?

I can't decide between this ski and the Burnin' Luv? I have demo'd Burnin' and love them, but have heard great things about these, too...there's nowhere to demo them here, though...I'm an advanced east coast (NH, VT, ME) skiier who spends most time on groomers (and ICE) because that's what we've got, but will ski the entire mountain given the opportunity...want to improve skills off groomed trails, more tree skiing, etc...I'm wondering if it will be good to have a little more underfoot, but I don't want to lose too much of the "turn on a dime" quality of the Burnin'...any advice?!

I've been looking at both this ski and Burnin Luv. This

I've been looking at both this ski and Burnin Luv. This year I will be spending approximately 95% of my time skiing Colorado (I'm a blue/black skier). Over the past several years, I've been skiing the east coast and the alps on carving skis. I don't have much experience in powder and would like to improve my skills in powder, but still want to rip the groomed slopes and hit the bumps. Any help on which ski to go with? (I would be will to go with other than K2 ski) Thanks!

If you are a advanced intermidiate skier and looking to get into powder you need a ski way wider then 78 under foot, you sould be looking around 85 to 95 under foot, Take a look at the armada arv-w , or rossignal scatch womens bc, line celebrity, or 4frnt pique, All excellent skis that ski powder well yet still rip on groomers. don't be afraid to go with a wider ski they are way more stable and will improve your skiing and be more versital all over the mountain.

Iam 70 years old woman 5'2".114pounds. I ski mostly intermediate blue easy black,I also ski powder that I love but I am not very good at it.I go fast on grooms and make frequent short turns. 40 years skier. My actual skis are shaped Volants 160 centimeters that I love about 10 years old. I think it is time for me to have a new pair of skis. I am a defensive skier as I have seen too many accidents in my life of skiing yet I am also aggressive in good slopes. Are K2 Lotta Luv or Burning Luv for me? If yes, which one or any other skis? Helen ok, I will go with LoTTA lUV, now the questin is which size?Iam 155 cm but 149 seems too short to me, should I go with 156? or it is better to get 149? What would be the advantage? Helen

I had the same Volants before I got new skis too. Personally I would go for the Lotta Luv. I have tried both and find the Lotta a little more forgiving than the Burnin' on big groomers if you need to make a quick turn because the kid from Nebraska just cut you off. Butthey are also pretty responsive in the back bowls when you want to chill and have fun. If it's the only pair you get, you need some Luvin'

If you can't decide between the lotta or or true, you might want to take a look at the one luvs. They're sort of the mid point between the two you mentioned and are a bit more all-mountain than the burnin (which lean slightly more toward speed/groomers)
