K2 Cinch Tryst Snowboard Binding - Women's - 2008

Get the lockdown performance of a strap binding along with easy entry and exit. The K2 Women’s Cinch Tryst Snowboard Binding features K2’s Cinch technology: The highback drops, the ankle strap moves forward, and you slide your boot in our out. No sitting in the snow getting a numb arse while you try to ratchet down straps with gloved fingers. However, K2 did give the Cinch Trysts aluminum speed ratchets just in case you do want to strap in the old way. K2 refined and cored out this season's C1W Chassis, which significantly reduces the Cinch CTC's weight. This binding's Universal toe strap goes over your boot or in front of it, depending on what feels good to you.

Bottom Line: Strapping in made easy.

I just purchased K2 Cinch bindings and a new Burton Lux board.

I just purchased K2 Cinch bindings and a new Burton Lux board. When I went to install the bindings the screws appear to be too long and with all screws in place, tightened down (to the point of bottoming out) there is stil SIGNIFICANT movement in the binding. We tried screws from a different board, same problem. We also tried Burton screws and they are all the same length giving me the same problem. Has anyone been able to put on these bindings?

Womens bindings are designed to fit our smaller feet and the incredibly small boards that the industry cranks out for women. I generally take a medium in womens binding and a small in mens. The most important thing is that they fit your boots well.

Will this binding work on last year's Burton Feelgood? A rep from my neighborhood shop told me that I can only use Burton bindings on my board... kinda lame!

That's not true. You just have to make sure that the bindings you get come with the 3-hole plates, not just 4-hole. Some newer bindings (like these) are also now coming with universal plates which will fit anything. http://www.k2snowboarding.com/technology/footbedMake sure the feel good does not have EST technology. I can not remember what boards had it last year and which did not. it should have 3 hole pattern compatible base plates. If the board is EST than you can only use burton EST's
