K2 Auto Ever Snowboard Binding

Take a look at the K2 Auto Ever Snowboard Binding’s highback, and you know something is up; this highback has every unnecessary ounce carved out of it and has no forward-lean lever; plus the highback directly attaches to the heelcup, where it pivots so you can get forward lean. Gap Eraser technology ensures a seamless connection between your boots and highback, so you get max power transfer. As if this weren’t enough, these K2 bindings feature toe straps that automatically close and open with the ankle straps—more time riding and less time sitting on the snow strapping in. Harshmellow technology (lightweight polymer pads on the toes and heels) absorbs vibration and disperses shock when you land your jump. Cored straps reduce weight further still. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a lighter-weight binding.

Bottom Line: The K2 Auto Ever Snowboard Binding is so lightweight that you might as well be strapped to your board with feathers—burly, high-performance feathers.

I currently have the Cinch CTX bindings and looking at getting the Auto Ever to use also. Does anyone know where I can find the weight of these bindings?

Awesome Bindings

I've taken these bindings out about 7 times now and they totally rock! They're still in good shape too. These bindings are as solid as any other high end binding you'll find out there. Perfect for all mountain freeriding. I was skeptical at first, but once you get them dialed in your liking you can strap in and out super quick. Now that I've gotten used to them, I would never go back to "regular" toe straps.

im looking at a few different k2 bindings right now... im an intermediate class rider. kind of an all mountain man, nothing really specific. anyway i keep seeing these bindings all over and ive been wondering which k2 binding would be good for me, the cinch ctx, the auto, or the auto ever? money isnt really an issue right now as these are for my set up for next season.... i have a pair of flows but after a few trips to the mountain the heel pad fell off and they arent as responsive as i would like.

If you are looking for something to be responsive, go with the cinch ctx, assuming you liked the step in style of your flows.

slick binding

I had some qualms trying this binding after last year's recall, but decided to try it out and hope for the best. Glad I did. Lots of adjustments, so you can tweak the angles to your heart's content. Once I got it dialed in, it feels like I'm one with the board. Stiff but comfortable ride. Getting in and out is pretty easy either standing up or sitting down. I wouldn't say it's a paradigm shift from the normal toe ratchet bindings, but I wouldn't want to go back, either. Only downside is that I'm not fond of the neon green K2 advertisements they put on the straps. Also hope it stands up to wear better than last year's. So good so far.

Burton gives their bindings a 1-10 flex/response rating, this

Burton gives their bindings a 1-10 flex/response rating, this is very nice when comparing bindings in their line. K2 however does not do this. This binding looks awesome but what should one expect in this bindings flex/response? I called K2 and they informed me that it is the stiffest binding in their line up, not so stiff though that it is impractical to use for an everything binding, on a scale of 1-10 they said it would be either a 7 or 8 in terms of flex/response. Just because it is the stiffest binding in their line up does not mean it is the nearly the stiffest binding out there. This binding is still able to slay it in the park and yet able to charge a hairy line anywhere else. Sounds like a sweet freestyle binding for an agressive all mountain freestyle shredder. I think theese are going to make a large impact on the binding world this year. Still pricy but less expensive than other companies premier bindings that actually offer less.
