K2 WWW Snowboard - 2008

The K2 WWW Snowboard (that's World Wide Weapon, though we suggest keeping that on the DL so the Feds don't come after you) is the K2 team's jibber of choice. The WWW is fully prepared for any rail-infested environment, whether you assault downtown or terrorize the terrain park. Built to spin, the WWW has a true twintip design and centered stance for balanced swing weight and seamless fakie transitions. The short nose and tail give you extra effective edge (K2 calls this its Jib Tip tech), meaning you can ride a 152cm if you're usually on a 158cm. The soft flex lets you smear nose and tail presses like butta. The core tapers toward the tip and tail to reduce swing weight, so you can finally nail that 900 you‘re so close to stomping.

Does this board have reg. edges or are they dulled?

Andrew's answer is not entirely accurate. The WWW's edges have a three degree base bevel on them, meaning the edge on the bottom of the board is angled up three degrees-- also called a "park tune." This allows for easier, catch-free jibs and rail slides. That said, the edges will still be sharp and not rounded.

I recommend at least detuning the tip and tail where the board meets the snow (contact points). Then, take it for a ride. At this point it's your call whether you choose to detune the entire edge. On my rail boards, I generally file down the contact points and use a soft stone between the bindings. That way I have catch free nose and tail, but still have some edge control between the binders.

This shred stick is revolutionary with K2 rocker technology offered at a bargain price. If your looking to take your asault of the park to the next level there is no better board to do it with. I usually ride a 155 and I rode the 148 all season. They aren't joking when they say it rides like a bigger board in a smaller package. The WWW is not just for jibbing, great pop off jumps and solid landings. Only suggestion is give yourself a few days riding to get acustomed to the buttery feeling.

Hi i am thinkin of getting a WWW for next season, the problem is i am approx 80 - 85 kilos but am 6ft 6.. will i be ok on a 158?? I currently ride a burton custom 166 which comes to below my chin but seems a bit too long for the park and not a true twin so i cant get my stance as wide as i would like...

actually a 158 will probably be perfect for you. you arent heavy enough to warrant anything longer, not to mention the "jib tech" this thing has. plus in the park youl want a shorter board...and if you want a rediculously wide stance then go for burtons ICS/EST set ups

i got the 2006 WWW and i rocked that for a good season or 2. i went from beginner who never did a rail to pullin 7's off 40 and 50 foot booters. this thing makes butters easier than butter and its perfect for any stage of jibbing, whether you're the n00b or you know a thing or 2 about the park. i got the new board for this season, 08-09 and i know its going to rock as well. its got the new jib tip and i went up a cm in size to a 152 but i know i will still be able to kill it on rails or kickers. for jibs or spins, n00bs or pros, this board is perfect for the park

It shouldn't, No. I Ride a 155 Rome Manual when im just hitting the piste, or if i just feel like a few powder runs, but i use a 155 WWW rocker on the park, and it is PERFECT, to be honest i preffer using the 155 to my freinds 152 i think it is, i think its more saying you COULD, not that you SHOULD kick down the size, your best bet though is to try one out if you can and decide for yourself, 'cos everyone likes different things in a board (Although i DEFINATELY recoment the WWW)

I Can't be without it :)
i ride snowdomes alot, as im from england and theres nothing in the way of mountains here, and its brilliant funto just beable to butter downthe slope when the park settup isn't out, but bring out the boxes and kickers and it realy begins to WOW you. It's perfect in everyway, responsive, smooth, predictable on rails, It's just amazing. I've ridden the artifact and the Evil Twin and neither of them came close to the WWW, although they are both still brilliant boards, and the artifact has amazing grafix :)

Ok wow Angus I don't think you answered his question there. The real answer is yes they are fine for big jumps as long as you don't get over 60-70 ft. Sure there are other boards that are better for that, but what this board does on rails makes up for it.
