K2 Shuks Anne Randonnee Ski - Women's - 2007

The first women's-specific mountaineering ski, the K2 Women's Shuk Anne Randonnee Ski's versatile dimensions and deep sidecut are ideal for spring tours where you could encounter corn on the south aspects and powder on north faces. Two sheets of metal laminated on the top of this backcountry ski's Bioflex core enhance the skis torsional rigidity, so you can arc out some high speed turns on the corn. K2 puts a solid fir core underfoot to further increase stability, and spruce toward the ends for easy turn initiation. This construction gives the ski a split personality—stable at speed, yet nimble and light when making picture-perfect figure eights in the powder. On the way up, your skins will stay put, thanks to a notch cut in the K2 Shuk Anne ski's tail.
