The K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski's 'hood is the park, but it's a legit big-mountain ride as well. And for the 2005-2006 season, the Enemy returns bigger and badder than ever with an extra 5mm of width in the tip, waist and tail. The Enemy's graphics are toned down a bit from the past, but K2 strengthened its build with ABS sidewalls and 2.5mm-wide edges. Go ahead and stomp on the most burred, damaged, ghetto rails you can find. The PE's already taken some metal, with its .45-automatic shell-casing tip and tail rivets. With a phat 85mm underfoot, the PE is tough enough to survive backcountry booters and big mountain lines. The Enemy can hang. *Available for US shipment only.
This ski is great if you want an all-mountain and park ski. I can stomp 7's with this ski no problem. If people tell you they're heavy tell them they suck. I've heard that said about this ski many times and I strongly disagree. It's great for boxes, and ok on rails. The only thing that makes rails a little harder is the fact that they aren't made for center mounting. Just work on your balance. Great ski, Buy it.
What many people overlook about the Public's is the performance it brings to the all-mountain scene. Alot of talented park skiers love riding on these for rails, pipe, and jumps of course, and they are great for it. The best part about these twins is that they are stiffer than all those other park twins, by far. This gives you strength a ski needs to be a legitimate all-mountain ski for groomers, bumps, and all over your resort. I am 6'2" , 185. I ride the 179cm mounted at +3, and they float well in pow, are great in bumps, and tear up the park. Believe what you have heard about these sticks, and go get some for yourself!
Skied them last year at Jackson Hole, super sweet in the pow but could use some more underfoot mass. Took em into the park and they performed incredibly well. All around boards for the intermediate to advanced skier.
I have gone on 3 skiing trips so far this year with my enemys and I love them. You can go so fast and take a turn and be in so much control. I tried my first 360 and tail dived into the ground and after cleaning off the dirt, not a scratch. These skis are the strongest fastest twin tip that look sweet. the flex you can get out of them in the park is great. When you land leaned back or in the seat the skis flex and absorbs whats throughn at it. I am 5foot 8 with 159's, My boss has the 169's we rip down the mountains faster than anyone else. I'm not even that good at tricks and stuff but when I dip out no-one stops me on these.
These skis are so fast! You can thrash them on rails or boxes and not even get a scratch. They are awesome and they can take any bumps you can throw at them. Buy these!!
The PE are the best skis I have had and they're the coolest lookin. I ride boxes, rail, and jumps and this ski has proved itself worthy. Buy these you won't regret it.
These are the best skis ever. You can do anything you want to them and you wont ever get a scratch, skiing urban and park. I am 5'7 145 lbs. and I ski a 179.
I bought these ski's based on rumors that this was an "all mountain" ski. It IS!!! These ski's are not only FAST, but RESPONSIVE! W/Free shipping, you will NOT find a better deal, OR a better ski for the price!
Alright, Im 52" and I ski 169cm. They seemed a lil long at first but I get so much control over them that it doesnt bother me. My first time with them was yesterday and I learned a switch one 180, and a three sixty, and a 360 on the boxes, all in that first day, these skis are awesome if youre lookin to get some new tricks down, or hit the old ones, I havent tried them all mountain cuz I live in the midwest but Im sure they are gonna be awesome cuz the turnings really solid, awesome skis!
I demoed these skis last year at Taos and they were described as an "all mountain" ski. I really disagree. I don't do any pipe or freestyle, so I can't comment on their suitability for that, but these are definitely at home in the powder and not on the groomed trails. If you're looking for a ski that is well suited to all conditions and terrain, this is not it. Its a quality product, but the function doesn't match the advertising.
